strangers stranded

Chen, Sehun, and Tao walked together in the empty road. Their eyes traveled their surrounding but soon after that they get bored. It was all trees. 

Back in EXO the three of them might not occasionally saw the tree, not that it was rare. But they live in the City part which are Upper Stage and Mid Stage. It was a lively city, and they couldn't see a lot of trees like this with green leaves back there unless they went to the Lower Stage. 

The Upper stage is where the government offices, the Palace, the military headquarter, and even the Guardian Academy located. Some really rich and important people also live in there, for example like Kai, Tao, and obviously Chen.  

Most of the citizens leave in Mid Stage, and The Lower stage is the place that particularly reasoned for farming and stuff like that. 

So they actually happy to see trees surrounding the edge of the road instead of skycraper and tall building all over the place. But when you saw the same thing for hours you must get bored either. 

"Don't you think this is kind of funny?" Tao said in the middle of their walk.

"This is tiring, not funny." Chen replied, and kept walking.

"Well" Tao looked to both Chen and Sehun in his right side. "We always ride flying vehicles back in our place. And now here we are, long away from home while walking by our foot for hours." 

"I find it rather unusual than funny" Chen replied again and this time Tao looked strangely to him.

"You know what? I've been wanting to ask you this for weeks but never actually bother to, but what is wrong with you?" Tao dramatically moved his hands while talking, and this make Sehun looked to him strangely. He thought Tao's head probably hit too hard in the ship when their falling yesterday.

"Nothing." 

"Do you think I'm a fool? I've known you for years. And I do know something happened."said Tao

"You can tell us mate. You're not acting like yourself lately." Sehun added and looked to Chen as well.

Chen felt uneasy and he scratch his not iching head and grunted. 

"I'm fine. Seriously" 

"Okay. Don't tell us then." Tao turned his head, and look to the front. Not slightly wanted to look at Chen again. 

They kept walking in silence until finally they found the end of road that covered with forest. By seeing this, they quickly paced their steps and walked to the end. Where a city spreaded out in front of their eyes. 

"Well..." Sehun remarked and glancing at Chen. 

"We will rest for some time. At least we found their city." Chen said after receiving Sehun's glance. 

Tao and Sehun just nodded and they walked to what it seemed to be a group of trees. It almost feel like they were on the training again. Where they were out in the battle field and had no place to rest except this kind of spot. 

"Who was on your mind when our ship fallen yesterday?" Sehun asked suddenly.

"My parents, and strangely Kai. Probably because we almost like brothers than cousin." Tao sat in the grass and leaning his back to the tree. 

"I was thinking of Yi Fan. He probably will go crazy if I actually die yesterday." Sehun answered his own questions and grinning to Tao. 

They were now both looked to Chen's direction, who was laying in his back while looking to the sky that was full of stars. 

The sky in here was sure different compare to the one in their galaxy. And Chen found it was calming as he only looked to shining stars and no space ship or crowded flying vehicles 24\7 

He breathed out and realized that Tao and Sehun must be waiting for his answers. So he put both of his hand in the back of his head, and mentioning someone that he loved the most.

"My Mom." He said quitely. And after that the rest of the night passed in silence.

The sun already up and it shine brightly to the Earth. Its warm ray hit Luhan's skin lightly, as he prepare his stuff in the living room. 

He waited for awhile for something until the voice that he expected reached his ears. 

"The hell is happening?! Luhan did you burn the back yard?!" Aera's shocked voice echoing in the house and Luhan just smiled, thinking that she must be stunned with his work last night. 

"Lu!!" She called out 

"In here..." 

Luhan saw her entered the room, and this time he was the one who stunned. 

"You didn't wear your contacts." He stated

"My eyes hurting for crying last night." She shortly answered, throwing him a look as she try to remind who to blame.

Luhan just nodded and couldn't kept his eyes off her face. Aera has a thing with colored contact lenses, so it could be said that the last time Luhan saw her without one was almost 2 years ago. 

"Why did you burn the yard?" Aera questioned, making Luhan get out from his thought.

"I need to throw my anger somewhere. Be glad it was not the house instead." He answered but still couldn't take away his stare from her face. 

"Are you leaving now?" Aera changed the topic since she knew the source of his angriness. Sometime she just forgot what Luhan could do with his power. That's why she didn't want to trigger it again and caused the house to burn into the ground. 

"Yeah. . . " He answered shortly.

Aera finally stared back to him, they were now looked like in a staring competition and completely silence until Luhan finally popped it.

"Come here" Luhan finally said. He opened both of his arm, welcoming as Aera without thinking twice hugging him tightly. 

"If I didn't come back in 3 months you should run away, okay?"He whispered while hugged her back.

"Where to?" She whispered back.

"Anywhere but here."

"What about the lab?" 

"Burn it down without leaving any traces." Luhan words caused Aera looked up to him.

"But I don't have any fire power to do it" She said and Luhan rolled his eyes.

"Have you forgot about the existence of matches and gasoline?"

"I..." She stuttered.

"Be safe." Luhan hugged her tighter before finally release it. She annoyedly looked to Luhan who seem really eager to leave, but release him anyway. 

"I like your eyes." Luhan commented and watched her eyes with his.

"I hate it. It's a curse." Aera replied and looked away from Luhan stare.

Luhan just smiled and ruffled her hair before turning around and grabbed his bag. 

"If you really want to go at least you have to kiss me." Aera's words caused Luhan stopped to grab his other weapon bag in the midair.

"Or else I'll go find other boys and kiss them, just like last year."She warned him but Luhan seemed to ignore her.

He knew that she would probably do it again to piss him off. But Luhan knew that was just because she wanted him to kiss her. Strangely, Luhan did not bothered with this. He clearly assumed that it was alright for Aera to get that even with others. He knew that what her heart really wanted.

"I'm going..." 

"Fine." Aera sighed and watched as Luhan walked out the door and paced his foot in the front yard. 

"Be careful!" She finally yelled to him, sounding out her worries.

Meanwhile Luhan just raised her right hand and waved, without turning back. Aera waved too, as if she was hoping Luhan would notice it. 

A small tears escape her eyes and she erased it quickly before closing the door and walked to her room.
