"Every battle is won before it is fought." This is one of my favorite quotes from Sun Tzu. Knowing your enemy is all you need to win a war. It was the year 2015, it all started when one man died, the man who controlled the state from the shadows, Anthony aka the old man, one of the most elusive men in Karnataka. He controlled everything illegal in the state from drugs, weapons, and poaching, he would do anything for money.

The surprising thing was that other than a few politicians, even people in high positions did not know about him. It was March 19th at 12:02 in the afternoon when he drew his last breath. This created a vacuum in the whole power system, there were many people waiting for the old man to kick the bucket so that they could take over his position. Many even tried to off the old man and failed, the man protecting the old man was his assistant and lawyer, other than the old man nobody even knew his name, people just called him "The Lawyer".

He didn't take over the business though, he started his own practice and started making deals around the state. The syndicate was created in such a way that even without the leader, deals would be made, money would be laundered, and made sure that money would be invested in more crime, but that depended on The Lawyer. Since he started his own practice things in the syndicate started falling apart. In the syndicate, there were 5 major players,

Vicky Shetty handled import and export.

Faisal Bhai managed marketing and sales.

Nirma, the head of transport and delivery.

Omar Babar arranged the labor and men.

And finally the senior-most player, Subash Battacharya. He was a minister who worked under the old man and pushed reforms and laws that supported their cause. He also knew whose palms to grease and made sure that the other operations ran smoothly. He was also known as the money man of the lot.

Now the race began to who will take over the old man's business, this is the beginning of the war.

"This is all great but where do you come in this? I am here to investigate you, you haven't told me why you killed so many people and what is this about a syndicate??" asked, Ms. Atwal.
