The Collective: Golem Divinity

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to grow in divinity? All while everyone else seems to think you are way stronger than you actually are? Well that's what Mark has to deal with when it comes to their new found life surrounded by any and every mythology there is. Oh, and there is of course their current employer, that hopes to have them in an eventual high position of their newly restructured Omniversal company. Also the fact that they didn't have much of a choice in the matter, not that they didn't want to though. _______________________________________________________________________ Discord server: https://discord.gg/vFb9ZcajzY

Moves Are Being Made

Mark

I do believe that I may be sadistic when taking on my male form. Just a bit, since I enjoyed the fact that Retzio would be suffering from facing off Jess a bit too much. Not that I cared though. I wanted to troll the couple as much as possible anyway. What really surprised me was how powerful Jess and Jane were. The two of them were stronger than all of my children and newly minted grandchild Kuroko.

Just the fact that Jess could snap Retzio's reality marble out of existence was a huge power move. Also, how in the actual natural dragon hoard of shit did that happen? At this point it wouldn't surprise me if Sebastian, Circi, and Kinami pulled something out of their ass that was equally crazy. It didn't help for the fact that I barely started watching Fate with Jess and Jane. I didn't even document anything on it yet.

Also the fact that somehow, some way, the growth item that the sisters and I made for Kuroko gave them an ability similar to Arise started to desensitize me. It did set up for some pretty epic situations when it did happen. I did crave a fight, being a battle-manic is a weird feeling to be honest. I decided to excuse myself and let Jess and Jane handle things from here so I could shift back before I try to fight the rest of my children at the same time.

Sebastian

Dismantling the operation spearheaded by the church to capture the Fae and force them to make more holy weapons is a tedious process. Considering how deeply rooted everything is, its hard to find where the corruption starts, or if its actively endorsed by the heavens. From what I can tell, it's not, and it's just the church being hungry for any power they can gain, taking drastic measures due to the war. The village for the fey has mostly been built, at least the general infrastructure. The remainder would have to be built by themselves.

Viviane has been by my side for the past several months since I brought her here. Things may have escalated between us a bit, but we haven't gotten truly intimate yet, since I prefer things much slower to start than most of my siblings. Regardless though, aside from being a wonderful companion as of late, she was proving her worth in her work as well.

She has allowed me to save valuable time, by integrating the people of the Fae in this dimension quickly.

"Sir Sebastian, we have currently gathered around 200 Fae from various parts of the world, and from the clutches of the church. From what I gathered from all of them, there is still a large amount left within the confines of the church. None of which are crafters, since it seems we have gathered the majority of them here. The ones that remain would be Fae warriors, civilians, and everyone in between. None of the ones alive seem to be male.

It seems that corrupt exorcist and priest are using them for their disgusting torture and pleasure. I have listed out all of the locations I have gathered and sent them to the data banks." She was wearing what mother would aptly name, a secretary outfit, with glasses, a green suit, high heels, and she was holding a tablet. Said tablet would have broken into pieces from the pressure of her clutching it, if it weren't magically reinforced.

"I understand the importance of rescuing your fellow fae Viviane, and we will rescue them as soon as possible. Proper preparations do need to be made however, since most of the places listed here are protected by a hero of some kind at the top of high class in power. Not that that matters to us, but they will each probably have a holy weapon of some kind that allows them to compete with the top of Ultimate class. I would like to take as many precautions as possible. It is better to be over prepared than under prepared."

"I understand Sir Sebastian, I'm just saddened by my people dealing with untold suffering as we speak. None of which any of them deserve." She took a deep breath to try and regain composure. I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her into a hug. Moments like this have happened a few times throughout her time here, but she was crying now with such force that what the remainder of the fae under the church were going through, was most likely the type of stuff that would cause Father to personally step in.

I don't want to trouble Father with anything in regards to this operation though. There is no need to unleash their wrath upon the various worlds again. I needed to get assistance from Retzio's legion so we could rescue them as quickly as possible.

Kuroko

I was currently experiencing something…weird I guess? The golem goddess, my now declared grandmother dragged me to play something called Risk Of Rain 2. I believe it was for some type of research on the items within the game, or it could be for just playing the game, I wasn't sure.

"Alright Kuroko, you start out the game with only two character choices. The soldier and the hunter. Both have very different playstyles, but are just as fun as the other. I have all of the characters unlocked, but I will be playing one of my favorites, the engineer. This game is a roguelike, I believe you have been playing hades lately, it's like that in the case of starting over and over with each run being somewhat different."

Their explanation was clear enough, so I decided to go with the soldier to start. I wasn't that familiar with guns as I have not joined the regular call of duty matches that many of our fellow golems join in and play. Regardless though, the game itself was fairly fun, only time will tell how much I enjoy it as time goes on.

I stand corrected, we have been playing this game for 16 hours. We were on our third run at the moment and I managed to unlock almost every character within that time with proper guidance from my grandmother. By the third run, MIss Jane and Jess joined us, and Circi was spectating me playing the game, while watching an anime called Dog Days.

Levi

I'm starting to wonder if Tammy was trolling me at this point. Or if it was particularly sadistic. As much as I was a happy go lucky person, I learned from my betters, a.k.a Miss Jane and Jess. I mentioned the few places that Tammy wanted me to fish to Mother, they didn't take it too well.

"No, Absolutely not. You are not anywhere near ready to do that! We don't even know what would even appear from there! Also, how in the world are you supposed to fish from the literal air? Clouds were crazy enough, but actual air? Not even the winds, but straight, stagnant air. Also the fact that Tammy casually mentioned fishing in the dimensional gap of our dimension. The gap apart of the verse we are connected to is crazy enough, I have no idea what could possibly pop up from that.

Also, just because I know what will pop up if you fish there, I will never allow you to fish from time and space! How in the fuck is Tammy even capable of that right now? How are you capable of that for that matter? I am not letting there be a chance of you fishing out the dragons of time and space from pokemon, or whatever else may pop up. Anything you fish up is way stronger than it would be normally. Unless you are as strong as the biblical god at their peak power, and even then I still wouldn't let you. I have no idea what repercussions that would cause.

Great Red is still not within our current scale of power and Tammy wants to mess with beings that are also literal conceptual beings? Hell no." If the large amount of nos they said wasn't enough, they kept mentioning all the downsides of doing anything that Tammy requested. The only thing I would have a chance of doing at some point was fishing from the air, but I needed to get much, much stronger.

Perhaps I would drag my followers to go training with me. Although training for us was more fishing. We fished up a lot of natural mythical creatures, and a variety of pokemon. Mother had to gather a large amount of pokeballs so that we could capture a good amount of them. Speaking of pokemon, Kuroko's garchomp was dangerous. Even Arty was weary around them, of course if it came down to it, Arty would win, but that may not stay the same if I didn't keep training with them.

I'll have to find a good mix of fishing and normal training with Arty in order to keep up. I refuse to lose to my nephew.

Kinami

It really didn't take long to take out those corrupt exiled of the five principal clans. Also the male yokai that tricked Yasaka, I left him damaged, and Yasaka tortured any further information out of him. It was strangely hot to see that side of her. So vindictive, so sadistic. It was like a switch flipped, although her natural self seems to be the complete opposite.

"What's our next move, Kinami? I discovered that many of my close advisors were corrupt as well, except for a select few. However, taking them out now is hard to do cleanly, and there seems to be an overarching plan to try and make me a puppet leader. I really thought that Amateratsu favored me in particular, but it seems like the shinto gods still treat us all like toys in a game." She sighed and sat further back in her chair at her desk.

I sat nearby looking over some documents. It was annoying to have to read over paper documents. I can't wait to digitize everything in order to make things more secure.

"First thing would be to replace those advisors with some of my own subordinates, then we need to expand your influence over the yokai more. At this point, regardless of what the shinto think, if they try anything directly, I will stop them."

"Ah yes, your hate for the shinto faction. It is deserved considering what happened, and I look forward to seeing them suffer for their own past mistakes." Yasaka grinned and I matched her as we started to laugh at the future struggles the shinto will experience.

"This will probably come in the far future, but we need to establish ourselves to the point that the clans won't think about touching us. By that time, if the shinto haven't already been put in their place, they will think twice before messing with us." It was nice to discuss the eventual takeover of this faction.
