Chapter 1

*Just woke up*

"A new day with nothing special" I mumbled to myself. I got out of my bed, freshened up and made myself breakfast. I sat the the dining table looking at my food with no interest to eat..

And then I sighed and got up from my chair..

That's when I heard a loud noise from the entrance. I wasn't surprised since I was used this everyday..I ignored the noise and to the library to read some books since it was a holiday and I had nothing to do anyways.

Meanwhile someone just barged into my living room looking for me..

It was none other than my best friend Alan..and the only ray of sunshine in my dark world.

He is very cheerful and caring towards me. We met when we were 4 and were besties ever since. He is like my younger brother that I adore very much.

He is also the BEST best friend that one could hope for..he was the only person that stood beside me and supported me in the darkest and worst parts of my life and never gave up on me even when I myself gave up on everything..

I looked at him and gave him a faint smile and wished him good morning!

He came towards me like a little puppy waging its tail happily and asked me, " buddyyyyyy!! let's go on a hike today!"

I could see the excitement on his face but I rejected him saying " sorry bro..but I have to finish my works later.."

But then he started giving me his puppy eyes..

Argh! Damn it!! He knows me too well..he knows that I cant resist his puppy eyes..

I finally gave in to him after a few moments and accepted his request to go on a hike..Its a holiday anyways, I can just do my works later.
