Your new princess

April was stunned, in her whole existence she had never seen such a magnificent being.

She wanted to answer to the man but words wasn't coming out.

''I....I....'' she stammered, her eyes were widely opened.

The man seeing her reaction displayed a smirk again and hold her chin.

''What's happening? Have you lost your tongue? '' he asked with a smirk on his lips

April was just there, speechless. The man then turned around, the smirk on his lips disappeared leaving it to a serious cold expression on his face , he talked

''I await your apologies ''.

She shook her head as if those words brought her back to reality, the expression on her face was

{what is he talking about}

''My apologies ? Why?'' She asked surprise .

Turning back to April '' for making me missed my prey '' he said with a cold and serious look on his face.

April was stunned from what she just heard. The young man hold her wrist and looked at her intensely with those bewitching cold eyes.

{He's even serious } she thought.

She tried to make him leave her wrist by putting her free hand on his hand that was holding her wrist

'' let go of me!! You are the one that have to apology , you almost killed me!'' She said a little upset.

The guy immediately reply

'' And nobody would have cried your death on the other hand my belly claims that doe who just ran away''.

The man was really annoying her

{he's already starting to get on my nerves, this pretentious little guy}

she thought.

At the moment she wanted to say something but someone interrupted her ''My lord, It's time, we should already be gone by now'' said a voice .

They both turned to where the voice was coming,it was a young servant wearing royal servant dress.

{could it be that this man is from the royal family?. No he can't,royal family couldn't be allowed to get out of the castle with only a single servant and with no guards around,he must be a guest of the royal family } she thought.

The man finally left the wrist of April . The way the man was dressed she could immediately know that he is a bourgeois.  '' I would had love to continue this conversation but duty calls'' he said sarcastically and then he kissed the back of her hand and left,she looked at how they disappeared in the woods.

''It's confirmed, I really hate bourgeois people, he must be a noble or a capitalists or maybe a politician, thought he is very young to be a politician'' she said with a calm voice.

She continued to pick her mushrooms. All the way to go back home she mumbled about the attitude of that annoying man who was so arrogant and pretentious.She arrived at home and she started to cook

In the throne room around a triangular table was sitting the king and his sons but we couldn't see their faces they were discussing about a serious matter.

''Father , why am I the one who has to get married?'' Said a young man who seem to be very disgruntled

'' Because the flower has designates you, Edward this year'' said the king with a calm voice .

Edouard gaze up very displeased '' That stupid flower, I will not allow a flower to decide for my life, father.'' He said irritated.

''Of one,son,it is not a 'stupid flower' as you said and two it is for your good.''

Edward keep insisting pleading the king .

'' father I'm begging, I don't want to married '' he turn around and continue '' I have my business to deal with, my company. I don't want to stay in this kingdom and even less have someone who will always be in my paws, to ask stupid questions like where I am Or where I'm from''.

The king sighs heavily ''after one year you can go with your wife'' the king replied tired of the complaints of his son. '' I don't even want to spent a week here again ''he replied.

''Edward it is for your own good your brother Darvin and Ronan went through that'' said the king.

Someone sitting beside the king spoke '' when your mate will be of no use to you ,you can devour her ''.

'' Why are you complaining Edward , we all went through that stop acting like a baby ''another one said.

But Edward just ignored what they said and turn to his father, the king then said ''If we're doing this it's to avoid unpleasant surprises, you know it'' said the king calmly. '' I have no problems father, she will be of no use'' he complain.

''The little Edward is whining ,do you want a handkerchief ?'', The voice was coming from behind them, Edward turn and has a deadly gaze

'' I'm not talking to you Alec!'' But the named Alec did not care of the deadly gaze that Edward gave him, he was nonchalantly leaned on one pillar of the room with a devilish smirk on his face, we couldn't also see above his nose .

'' Enough!!'' The king ordered, he continued '' you will married the chosen mate whether you like it or not . I don't want to talk about it again ''. Edward walked away a furious look on his face.

The next day April prepared herself for the competition yes she called it competition because we have to fight to be chosen as the wife of prince Edward.

After finishing to dress , she then took the road for the castle .

At the castle they were so much people, be it the participants, spectators and the guests.April was wondering

''It's like that after every five year ?'' She asked to the man next to her,

'' yes but this year it seem to have increased '' answered the man who was in his thirties who was paying attention where the king was suppose to appear.

April stayed calm and then added. '' prince Edward must be very popular '' she asked.

The man turned to her and smile '' He is !! Popular is not even the word, he is mostly popular with women '' he then turned back

'' the last time he has been seen in the kingdom is when he had seventeen years old and now all the girls are curious to see to what he ressemble, he is the third prince to get married amount the king's son''.

April really began to desperate with what the man just said '' That's great'' she said sarcastically.

The crowd cheered,except April, something was bugging her, a question that keep coming on her mind. Generally royalty usually married people like them and if they married commoners it was bourgeois which can help them politically, military and economically. So it was weird that the king added paysans in the competition who will be of no use to them in the futur , they will gain nothing from paysans .

Trumpets were heard indicating the arrivals of the royal family. The sound brought back April to reality. She was eager to see these famous princes, she raised the tip of legs to have a good view on them then she felt as if something was dragging her robe , she looked down and saw a little girl

''please, my brother is stuck down there, could you come and help him ?'' She said looking at April with puppy eyes . April hesitated for a moment but the way the little girl looked at her made her to accept, she told herself that they will be others occasions but she had to be back before the competition starts. she hurried to help the girl.

The royal family finally appeared. They were placed on the wall separating the higher courtyard and the lower courtyard on the way where archers and guards in charge to watch at the castle usually stay. The king then spoke

'' My people! I'm delight that you came so much to this event ''

The people applaud joyfully the king then continue "As you know, we're going to choose a wife for my son prince Edward", he said placing his right hand on the left shoulder of Edouard who was displeased of the situation

"the participants will go to the forest of fog ,search for the legendary flower called <EDEN> and the girl that will bring me back the flower will be the one to married the prince.'' He said

But one thing they were not aware was that it's the flower eden that is choosing the mate. The flower eden was a magical flower that has been chosen mate for the royal family since generations. If you're the appropriate mate for one , it will appear to you, so this game of founding the flower was just a cover. ''Good luck to y'all'' after saying those words the king and his sons walked away.

April trying to help the little boy couldn't see them but was near enough to hear what the king said. ''All the participants should be in the higher courtyard!!" Shouted the guard

April hurried up ,'' thank you miss" the little girl said smiling and April gave her back her smile. The guards accompanied the participants in the forest . On the way some girls was talking "He was so beautiful " said one "Such a charisma " said another. <<Is he that much beautiful?>> she thought

The forest of fog contrary to his name , the forest was having no fog it was a bright vivid forest.

The participants searched for the flower, until doing low blows between them. April was already tired, two hours passed an no one had seen the flower, she was tired of searching that damn flower.

Eventually we can abandoned if tired,some girls abandoned but it was as if nobody left because they were so numerous.

Five hours passed no trace of the flower, April began to desperate, what if another girl found it before her. Her family and her will be lost, all her hope was in this game. She sat down on a rock.

''I'm tired,my head hurts,my legs hurts even my hairs are in huge pains,where is that damn flower !damn it!!''.

After some minute fog began to appear, she was wondering how come does fog appear just like that with this bright sun. The atmosphere became very scary and it was freezing. In front of April was a concentrated amount of fog, it was as if the fog was covering something. After some second it disappeared. April was stunned, her mouth making an 'o' to what she saw.

It was a beautiful flower, it petals had a rainbow color, it was surrounded with huge green leaves around it stems and a bright light was all over it. Some second passed before April could say a word, she finally spoke

'' The flower... eden '' her voice was barely a whisper.

She approached the flower fascinated and scared but the beauty of the flower remove in her all the fear.

She took the flower and a loud sound of thunder was heard indicating that the flower has been seen. All The participants was looking her with bad eyes full of jealousy, they went back to the castle.

The crowd applaud with joy, April went in front of the king she put one knee on the ground , bowed her head '' your majesty'' she said .The king raised her and took the flower on her hands, he smiled at her and then turned her to the crowd and said '' This is your new princesse''
