Research for the signification of the tattoos (2)

After finishing preparing herself for the journey, she was descending the stairs thinking of those tattoos, the meaning of those symbols .

As she was descending , she saw Gaëtan at the entering asking the maids to bring some clean sheets in the different rooms of this quarter.

She thinks that Gaëtan must has seen this symbols elsewhere in this kingdom, since he had worked here for long and maybe he knows the signification of that , so she asked him.

''Hey Gaëtan'' she greeted.

He turned to the voice.

''Oh , Good morning your highness '' He greeted back with a smile.

She arrived where he was placed.

''Can you help me with something ?'' She asked.

''sure your highness '' He replied.

''Have you ever seen a symbol of a snake biting its tail? . If yes do you know what that symbol signifies ?'' She asked.

''The OUROBOROS '' he said.

''The what?'' She asked confused.

''The OUROBOROS'' he repeated

''The snake biting its tail is called OUROBOROS'' he asked.

''What does that means ?'' She asked.

''I think your highness if you want to know more deeply about that symbol , it's better for you to read books about symbols in the bookcase '' he said pointing the direction of the bookcase.

She turned to see where he was pointing to.

''And I have seen it on the Princes too . They usually organized the Bardit Game , they're all half naked and we can clearly see their tattoos " he added.

She turned back at him .

Why is that it doesn't surprised her ?, maybe because she was sure that all the brothers have it.

"And a symbol of an eagle on them?" She asked

"Yes they have it as well , but it is also the hallmark of this kingdom. So you will see it everywhere in the castle" he said

"Thank you Gaëtan " she said with a smile

He smiled " Your welcome your highness "

She directed herself to the bookcase.

IN NORWELM KINGDOM.

Katherina for many days was sad. She wasn't eating nor talking to anyone. She will stay in her room everyday and nights .

Emerald entered in her room. The heavy curtains and windows were still closed. She opened it and sunlight entered in her room , brightened the room.

"No! Emerald closed it" she said putting her hand in front of her face.

"Will stay here for the rest of your life?" Said Emerald

"Yes!" she said putting the sheet up to her head. "Why will I get up from my bed?" She added.

"Maybe to see your beautiful sister beating those men " she said

Katherina stayed silent.

"Oh come on Katherina! You will not neglect yourself because of a man " she said dragging the sheet from Katherina.

"Not any man sister, It's the man that I love " She said

"A man that you can't have , he's already for someone else" Emerald Said.

She stood up from the bed angrily.

"That peasant stole him from me" she said

"Katherina.." she called with an overwhelmed voice.

"He was supposed to my man!! A girl from nowhere just come like that and stole him, no! I refuse" she said angrily.

"You saw that you can't have him back , during our sojourn at Escalior he didn't have your time " she said trying to reasoned her sister.

"It's because she was between life and death "

Emerald shook her head desperately

"Stop fooling yourself sister"

She looked at Emerald with determination.

"I will not give up " she said

April entered in the bookcase. It was a beautiful and large library . She went to the row of books for symbols, she took 10 books and went and sat on a place at the library.

She spent the whole day on those books and she saw nothing about the OUROBOROS symbol. It remained just one book , she didn't want to read it because she was discouraged not finding what she wanted.

She opened the last book and was reading when finally she saw it.

 « The snake or the dragon that

bite it tail is called the

Ouroboros.This is an ancient

greek word ourobóros formed

from two words oúpà which

means tail and bopóc which

means ravenous and glutton  »

"Huh?"

{ravenous?! Glutton?!}
