Doubts

The doors of the throne room opened violently.

King Salomon, Sir laurent and some members of the royal court were present. They turned to the door.

He entered in the throne room with anger

''Father! What have you done?!!'' Edward asked with anger

Salomon Asked to the members of the royal court to get out except Laurent.

''You've locked my bride!'' He added

''Is it the reason why you came back?'' He asked with an indifferent expression

Edward stayed silent. His blood was boiling inside , anger was moving in his head and he could feel how something or someone wanted to take control.

''Calm down Edward.. you know what will happen if you get angry '' Laurent said

''I don't care! ''

''Your mate have attempted to seduce Sir laurent. She was half naked when we entered in the room '' Said Salomon

''Fortunately Sir laurent has refuse'' he added

Edward whose face was red with anger changes. The young man started to laugh hard.

''Are you sure we are talking of the same girl?'' He said laughing holding his belly

The two man looked themselves without understanding anything.

''April trying to seduce someone?! She's afraid of just looking a man naked and you are telling me that she tried to seduce Sir Laurent?!'' He said still laughing

'' It's the image she gave to you. That girl is a great seducer and she's very intelligent '' Sir laurent said

Edward stopped laughing

''It's not now that I'm knowing that Lady. It's not the first time that we meet. She will always come in my mansion , stand naked in front of me and do all such naughty things just to seduce me. It's her ambition to have more power and influence in this kingdom '' Laurent said

''Remember the day of the ball , when you caught one of our conversation. When we talked of a deal'' He added

{ Yes that day} he thought

''Has she told you about the deal?''

No respond from Edward

'' Your silence says a lot. The deal was that she stops coming to my mansion doing naughty things and in exchange I will give her a huge some of money '' He added

''Lies!!'' Edward Said

''If I'm lying why is that she told you nothing about the deal?'' He said

''Few days after she has been kidnapped, she came again ''

''Huh'' Edward eyes opened

The image of April coming out from the mansion of Laurent came in his head.

{ Is Sir laurent saying the true ? I asked her several times what was she dealing with him and she never told me. Is all these true} he thought doubting

''I want to see her'' He said

''Guard !!'' Called Salomon

The guard came.

''Bring the lady here''

Few minutes after he came with her.

When she saw Edward tears started coming out. She ran in his direction and hugged him.

''Edward !! Please trust me . I haven't done such things '' she said still holding him

He caressed her hairs.

She then let him go . He was looking at her with doubts . Laurent has entered in his head putting doubts inside.

''Your highness, let her tell you about the deal'' Laurent said

April was surprised.

{ Has he told them about the deal??} she thought

''April ! '' He hold her shoulders '' What are you dealing with him? I want it to come from your mouth'' he said

April looked at him. She cannot talk , she doesn't want that people sees her father like an incapable man , plus , he's still sick . She doesn't want that her father should be concern with it and the main reason was.....

''I can't ''

A smirk appeared on laurent lips. He knew very well that the girl wouldn't speak of that because.....

Flashback

Laurent Mansion

''April'' he called her

The girl turned displeased

''What?!''

He approached near her ear and said

That day Laurent has seen Edward in the carriage coming. Laurent too has a sharp vision, sharp smell . When Edward stopped to watch them he added

''It was a pleasure ''

Knowing very well that Edward will start suspecting her. Laurent had this idea of Plan to stop that marriage since , so he decided to put some doubts in Edward's head little by little.

When he saw Edward leaving he added again

'' If you talk about this deal to anyone, You will receive your Father head in a gift that I will send to you and the rest of the body will be given to your sibling '' he said with a smirked

April shivered . This man was really cruel .

''You see , your highness. She doesn't want to speak because what she does is naughty and outrageous '' Laurent said

Edward eyes darkened

''April... Is it true that you tried several time to seduce Laurent?'' He said loosing his patient

''No!!! That's false'' she yelled

''I saw you that day, getting out from his mansion. I asked you several time what are you doing with him you never wanted to tell me'' he said

''So I repeat. What.. are.. you.. dealing with him ?!'' He added

She was crying and shivering

''Will you speak !!!''he yelled boxing the wall who has cracked

She stepped back frightened

''Guards bring the prisoner back '' Laurent ordered

''He's getting angry and it's not good'' he added

The guards dragged her

''Edward it's not what you think ! Please trust me!'' She said leaving
