Chapter 16: I'm already in trouble!
It's a few days later as we finally arrive at the training camp and I'm struck speechless by it's size. It's perched in the foothills of the Crystal Mountains and it's more of a fortress than a camp, sprawling across the uneven terrain with large walls around the perimeter and little paths leading up to it from every direction.
I can hear shouts like short barks, orders flying back and forth down the caravan and also from the training camp up ahead where there is constant movement to be seen through the wide open gates. We're back in the open cart, huddled together for warmth since no one will let us keep our blankets during the day and I duck my head down as we travel through the main gateway even though it looms over us far too high to be any danger of hitting me.
