The Child Soldier's Reincarnation

'The Weapon', that was what the soldiers called him. A young boy who ran into battle and simply killed what he was told to. All the higher ups used him as a tool, so calling him a weapon was rather fitting. He was a child who's talent was monstrous, he lived in a world where people produced 'Aura.' And although his Aura pool was rather large it wasn't what made him so monstrous, he possessed a Unique Attribute. The Corruption Attribute, it could stop natural regeneration, make the body and the ground crumble to dust. It made things decay and was like a poison. On top of that, he had a level of intelligence that would surpass even graduates of famous universities. His martial skills were also powerful, he could copy martial arts with a glance. However, he had been brainwashed and drugged to the point where he couldn't disobey. One night he was sent to battle and never returned. The Weapon only had one belonging, a book, it was the book written by the first person that he had killed. And he had reincarnated as a villain... _______________________________________________ All the art, the covers and in the images used in this book belong to their respective owners, I do not claim to own these images. Chapter 64 - Slicing The Heart Of Britannia [2]

Claire Bladeheart POV:

As the bullet rushed towards me, I didn't move. However, the bullet halted its movement and was promptly crushed by the wind current I was manipulating. I took a step and casually crossed the two or so hundred meters between us before the bullet was crushed.

I calmly looked down at the white haired creature beneath me.

"Be Crushed."

At my command, the pressure around us increased significantly. The gravity around the two of us began to increase, and the walls around us began to be crushed. However, they somehow repaired themselves, and the ground around us never shattered, only the further bits of the hall were ever actually damaged.

She rested her face on her palm, she crossed one leg over the other and smiled with a glint of interest in her eyes.

"I've been expecting you, Saint."

Her voice was disturbingly comforting, her voice practically wrapped around my heart and artificially relaxed me. In that instant, I relaxed and let go of my sword.

(A/N: Red Cross as in red plus sign, not Jesus cross.)

(E/N: Hmm… When you say that, it makes me think of a certain webtoon…)

Then, a red cross was formed and was slammed into my sternum. However, the attack was incapable of moving me, instead, the red cross shattered on impact. The shock woke me up however. I grabbed her by her face and began trying to crush her skull. I began hearing cracks and even saw bleeding, but for some reason, her head wouldn't shatter.

"You can't kill me, Saint."

The woman snapped her fingers and an array of red crosses were formed at my feet. I dropped her and dashed back, creating around fifty meters of space between us. The woman had created a cemetery of red crosses in front of her.

I extended my hand, and began attempting to crush the white haired woman. However, no matter how many cracks I heard, she wouldn't die. And for some reason, the area around us was constantly in a pristine state.

I created a powerful torrent of wind to carry my sword back to me.

'Bladeheart Style, Gale Thrust.'

Concentrating Wind Mana at the tip of my blade, I tensed my calves and leapt forward. She formed a large red cross in front of her, but it was useless. My sword art pierced her heart and barrier before she could notice what was happening.

However, once I took my sword out of her body and began to walk away she began to slowly regenerate.

"You really are a Saint, if they sent someone like you out, then I'm sure the Emperor must be serious about crushing Brittannia. I suppose that Tenebris never stopped sharpening their blades, or perhaps you're a blade they've been polishing?"

"What? Are you honored by the presence of one of Tenebris' Saints? Well, you fucking should you fucking aberration. Although it's not like regeneration is unheard of, I've never seen it look so grotesque on someone."

As her bones began to rebuild themselves, her muscle fibers stretched and convulsed as her body was slowly put back together. Skin layered itself across her body and even her clothes were rebuilt.

Regeneration and Healing were entirely different. Healing couldn't always bring the body back to its original shape and it required Mana, concentration, time, etc. Regeneration was different, it was usually faster than being healed, it also granted a much larger stamina pool, it could make you more resistant to disease, and it often brought the body back to a perfect state soon enough. And if it was an ability from a Rune, it didn't usually need Mana.

Those who could regenerate are more like human battering rams that tear through enemy lines, rather than being soldiers or warriors.

"For a Saint you have a foul mouth."

"For a person who was able to take over a country you're really fucking weak."

"I may not be the strongest, but I have my ways."

I heard her snap her fingers, my body lost the will to move and bandages wrapped around my body, the power in my body began to rapidly decline.

She began to do a curtsy while lightly smiling.

"My name is Florence Nightingale, as a nurse I often had to keep my patients in check."

"Are you fucking stupid? Do you really believe a Saint could be restrained?"

I calmly broke out of her restraints, and slowly walked towards her. I covered the blade of my sword with a thin, invisible lining of ultra sharp wind currents, their opposing flows would shred the flesh of anyone into nothingness.

I increased the gravity around this... "Florence" lady, she was incapable of moving under its weight.

"You know Ms. Saint, my power is related to healing people. Whenever I heal someone who consents to being healed, I can take control of their minds. And you see, I've healed thousands of people in my life. But, none of them have been as monstrous as you. Are there any wounds or anyone you want me to hea-"

And with that, I beheaded her, of course she regenerated again. However, each and every time, my blade would tear her body apart and turn her into shredded cheese. As time went on, the noises of shredding her flesh were replaced with cries of pain. It seemed that as her body was placed under more and more stress, her pain reduction eased up. Soon, she was vomiting, screaming, and in a mess of tears.

The red cross covering her white hair slowly became brown, her eyes began to bleed and she started to claw away her own face, as if trying to tear it off.

"Is this... some sort of drawback from overusing her Rune? Well either way, it's too much of a hassle to think about it."

"Bladeheart Style, Boreas Slash."

I sliced her in half, and along with her, I sliced the castle and the ground beneath it in half, and the air which was cut was removed, and a vacuum which tore her insides apart was formed.
