The Beginning

While Samuel was getting ready to go to military school, there was a knock on the door. When Samuel answered the door, a military man was waiting for Samuel. Samuel nodded and followed the man. Once you were 16, you would be sent to military school. There you would train your abilities that were first awakened 30 years ago. Using these abilities, people called a guild would send hunters to clear dungeons.

Samuel went to the teleporter to get to the military school. If it were Samuel's choice, he wouldn't have gone. He still wanted to run a few more tests on the book his parents left him when they died. He couldn't open it by hand. He seems to be able to scratch or melt it. He took the book with him, but he didn't know what to try now.

When Samuel got to the military school, he seemed to be 100 other students like him. The teachers divided them into four groups. Where they would give you some tests to see what their strength is. In this year, power and money ruled all.

When it was Samuel's turn, the teacher directing Samuel's group said his name was Leo. Leo asked, "Do you have an ability?" "No, sir," Samuel answered. "Would you like to have this level one earth ability?" Leo asked. "No, sir," Samuel responded again. With the discussion over the test began. On the strength test, Samuel scored was ten average. On the speed test, Samuel also scored ten on average.

When the test was finished, everyone called Samuel 'Useless' 'Trash' and so on. While Leo was showing Samuel to his dorm where he would be staying for two years, Leo let out a long *sigh*. Leo has seen this for years, but he can't do anything about it by orders. Leo showed Samuel to his dorm. "Sorry for the other students' actions," Leo apologized. "Thank you," Samuel responded and then closed the door.

When he got to the room he would be staying in for two years, he felt sad. He took out his stuff and brought out the book. The one thing that he hadn't tried yet was reacting to blood. He tried it, and the book did something strange. "It disappeared!" Samuel exclaimed. All of a sudden, Samuel felt tired. He fell unconscious, but a notification-like thing popped into his vision right before he saw it.
