Prologue

Life is chaotic on earth has been awhile now. But let me tell you why.

In the year two thousand nineteen a virus unlike anything seen before took hold in china. Where it would spread from person to person and eventually from continent to continent. Almost 80% of the population of earth has either had the virus and lived and died with it. Global lockdowns were enforced along with mask mandates and curfews.

The virus was given a vaccine but many people refused to take it for reasons such as religion and disbelief in a vaccine that took less than a year to make. The virus mutated countless times and the survival rate was decently high. But it had its lasting effects like muscle fatigue and a loss of taste and smell.

But that all changed in the year twenty twenty six. When the first DNA mutation was discovered.

An ordinary woman working in a grocery store was the first case of this rare mutation.

The mutation was activated like a dormant code in her dna people close to her say she had an anxiety attack the day she was found. She was known as the first mutant from the virus. She was a mutant due to her ability to control electricity from anything electrical powered. To the smallest electric waves such as brainwaves.

Turns out. The government knew the virus had this potential and have mutations and have been following cases of bazar power surges and issues with electrical equipment and wifi and they have realized the cause is from Jaylin Moore. A seamingly nobody who is going to become somebody of interest.

Thing is though. She's not to be messed with. She hasn't had the best life. And because of that she is not going to give up without a fight. She won't be caged and tested on like she's useless, she's felt useless long enough. It's about time she stood up for herself.
