Charles's mansion......

Charlie and Eve got back from work and headed straight to their room to freshen up and eat dinner.

"How was your first day at work today?" Charlie asked.

"It was really stressful because we had to pull back the company back on track because you know the company was gratefully affected by the whole news and all but anyway it was also interesting because I got to learn new things" Eve said.

"Okay but don't over work yourself, so you won't fall sick" Charlie said.

"Okay! Hmm... Charlie" Eve called.

"Mhm?" Charlie said.

"Can you help me search for a reliable person to be my personal assistant?" Eve asked.

"Okay no problem, I will send one of my trusted secretary to you" Charlie said.

"Thank you" Eve said giggling.

"Instead of thanking me verbally, why not thank me in action" Charlie said with a mischievous smile on his face.

"And what would that be?" Eve asked as if she doesn't know what he meant.

"You know what I mean" Charlie said.

"I don't! How will I know if you don't tell me" Eve said smiling.

"Okay since you don't let me tell you" Charlie said and lifts Eve from her seat and went upstairs to their room.

Charlie's office.........

Charlie dialed the intercom asking his secretary to come into his office immediately.

"Sir you called for me" Dan said waiting for Charlie to say something.

"Yes I did. I want you to inform Sue and Nars in the accounting department of their transfer to Devan corporation as my wife's personal assistants and they would be starting tomorrow" Charlie said.

"But their positions will be vacant sir" Dan asked carefully.

"Don't worry just have two competent people to replace then" Charlie said.

"Yes sir" Dan was surprised but will still carry out his boss's order. Dan said and turns to leave but stopped when Charlie said something.

"And one more thing, I want you to tell them not to inform my wife as I want it to be a surprise for her" Charlie said.

"Okay sir" Dan said.

"You can go now and pass the information" Charlie said and faces his work in front of him. Dan leaves the office to pass the news to the two employees.

Accounting department......

Sue and Nars were busy with their work when they were called into the manager of the accounting department's office.

"Why would the manager want to see us?" Nars asked Sue.

"I don't know but we will know when we get there" Sue said to Nars. Both of them were surprised when they heard that the manager is looking for them.

Manager's office.........

Sue knocked on the door of the manager and waited for permission to enter.

"Come in" the manager said. Sue opened the door and entered with Nars following behind.

Sue and Nars entered the office and is surprised to see the secretary of their boss, Dan in the office of the manager and wondered if they have done something wrong and they don't know.

"You sent for us sir" Sue said.

"Yes I did, sit down" the manager said signaling them to sit down. After they sat down the manager said to them, "secretary Dan here has something to talk to you both about."

"Over to you secretary Dan" the manager turned to Dan and said.

"Thank you" Dan said and turned to Sue and Nars to meet their nervous and curious gazes, "no need to be scared, you didn't do anything wrong, I am only here to relay the order of the CEO." Sue and Nars sighed a sigh of relief.

"What is the order?" Sue asked.

"Well the CEO wants you both to be transferred to another company" secretary Dan said.

"What!" Sue and Nars shouted together. This made the manager and secretary Dan laugh.

"Are we being transferred to another country?" Nars asked sadly.

"What will happen to our friends and family here? We can't leave them" Sue said. Both of them were panicking.

"Hold on... Hold on... Nobody is leaving the country" secretary Dan said.

"If we are not being sent to another country, then what do you mean by being transferred to another company?" Sue asked.

"It means as you heard 'another company' not country" secretary Dan said.

"Okay so then which company are we going to and what position are we taking on there?" Nars asked.

"Yes, are we going to continue to work in the accounting department?" Sue asked.

Secretary Dan cleared his throat and said, "you are going to Devan corporation to be the personal assistants to the CEO" secretary Dan said. Sue and Nars took some time to take in the news before they stared at secretary Dan and the manager wide eyed.

"We are going to become the personal assistants to Eve!" Both (Sue and Nars) shouted.

"Yes" secretary Dan said nodding his head.

"Really?" Sue asked secretary Dan again to make sure she heard right. 

"This is wonderful! We need to inform Eve about this" Nars said.

"Yes.. yes.. you are right" Sue said. Both of them were happily talking how they would tell their friend before they were stopped by someone clearing his throat.

"Yes it is indeed wonderful but one more thing Mr Charles also said I should inform you both about" secretary Dan said.

"Which is?" Nars asked and both Sue and him looked at secretary Dan.

" He said that you both should not tell her about it as he wants it to be a surprise for her and also you both are to resume work at Devan corporation tomorrow morning" secretary Dan said as a matter of fact. Although Sue and Nars were not happy about not informing Eve about it but it also good surprising Eve so they didn't linger on it for long.

"Okay, we won't say a thing to Eve" Sue and Nars made the movement of using their thumb and index finger together to show their mouths is closed.

"Okay since I have fulfilled my mission here, I will be on my way back to position beside the CEO before he asks for me" secretary Dan said standing up from the sit he was sitting in and arranging his suit.

"Okay, bye secretary Dan" the manager said. He turned and faced Sue and Nars, "you both can go back to your posts."

"Okay sir" Sue and Nars said and leaves the office and goes back to their cubicles.

The day went by fast and it was closing time. Sue and Nars tidied their tables and said their goodbyes to their colleagues and left the company.

Charlie's mansion......

Living room........

Charlie and Eve were watching television when even spoke and asked Charlie.

"Oh how is the search for a personal assistant for me going?" Eve asked.

"Fine, I have actually found two people to start tomorrow" Charlie said.

"Two?" Eve asked surprised.

"Yes" Charlie said.

"Why two? Isn't that too much? I needed only one" Eve said.

"No, it is not too much. I just don't want to you to stress yourself too much that's why I picked two to be your assistants" Charlie said.

"Okay, so can you tell me who they are so I would be able to recognize them at least with their names" Eve said.

"It is a surprise" Charlie said.

"Surprise?" Eve asked.

"Yes" Charlie said.

"Just tell me!" Eve shouted.

"If I tell you it wouldn't be a surprise anymore right?" Charlie asked.

"Just.... forget it" Eve said folding her hands pouting her lips.

"My little bunny of a wife is just too cute" Charlie said pinching her cheeks.

"Don't call me that" Eve said looking away from Charlie.

"Hahaha... Stop sulking and let's go to bed, we have work tomorrow" Charlie said laughing at Eve's childish behavior. Eve stood up and ran upstairs to room and Charlie followed her laughing.
