CLEAN SLATE

A bright morning it was, it seemed she had had a peaceful rest. She could almost hear the birds chirping in her head but they were actually by her window. She gave a long stretch, and it seemed the knock on the door had called her back to consciousness. She opened her eyes and yawned, stretching her arms above her head. Once she was done, she stared at the door for a while grumbling in her head.

"One minute!"

She voiced loudly and the knocks stopped. She lazily got off the bed sliding her feet into her comfy slippers. She tried clearing her eyes with both hands as she walked towards the door. 

"Hey..good morning"

Stace said in a calm tone. He held on to a tray that contained a kettle and a teacup on a saucer.

She yawned again pushing the door wide open enough for him to get in with ease. He moved to dropping it on the table that laid by the bed. She shut the door behind her watching him .

"Good morning.."
