Chapter 8

 checked the fast food's location on GPS and found out it wasn't far from the house. It was just a five-minute walk from the house, and a two-minute drive.

"Should I go?" I wondered aloud.

It took me more than a minute to decide. I walked upstairs to check on my sons before I came downstairs and took my phone.

I had to change out of the clothes I was wearing earlier because it was soaked in sweat.

Currently, I'm putting on a white sundress, and I paired it off with flat red shoes.

I didn't bother tying my hair up in a ponytail. All I did was comb through it, and allow it to cascade down my back.

I switched on the television in case my sons woke up, and I'm not yet back.

With the film on, they won't think of doing anything else.

I glanced up at the stairs before I walked out of the room, and gently closed the door behind me.

There is burglary proof in the house. So, should anything happen, I will be alerted of it.

I entered my car and drove off to the fast food. I packed my car, and exited the car, only to receive another message.
