SUGAR DADDY.

The Next Day at School

Sammy was finally discharged and came to school today. Her friends flocked around her, showering her with sympathy.

"Sammy, it must have been hard on you," one girl said.

"I wonder who would have done such a terrible thing to you?" another girl asked.

"If I ever find that person, I would beat them to a pulp!" another girl said angrily.

No one knew Rory's true identity as the real young miss of the Devane Family. That's why Sammy couldn't reveal who actually pushed her and left the identity space blank. If word got out that she was the illegitimate daughter and her mother was the mistress, she would be ruined. Her reputation in society would plummet to the ground. It couldn't happen. Sammy's eyes were lowered so no one could see what she was thinking. Everyone thought she was nice and sweet.

Rory walked into the school, her hair blowing in the breeze. She looked like a painting. As she walked, she spotted a familiar face and her lips curled up beautifully. What a pleasant surprise! She wanted to walk over but was in a good mood today because of what happened this morning.

Earlier That Morning

Rory had just finished her bath. She walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a white towel, her hair soaking wet and dripping water. The towel wasn't that long, covering only half of her thighs. Suddenly, the door opened, and Rory's eyes widened.

"What are you doing here?!" Rory yelled, a little flustered.

It was Daniel. When he came in and saw Rory in a towel, he immediately looked away, his ears turning bright red, matching the color of Rory's cheeks.

"I came to call you downstairs for breakfast," he answered, embarrassed.

Rory's heart was beating fast, and she helplessly said, "Did anyone not teach you how to knock?"

Daniel narrowed his eyes at her and said sarcastically, "I'm sorry, I think they forgot to tell me that I was meant to knock in MY OWN room." He emphasized the words 'My Own.'

Rory glared daggers at him, and he left the room. Even after he left, her heart was still thumping loudly, and she was blushing immensely.

Back to the Present

Even thinking about it made her cheeks flush red.

"What are you thinking about so early in the morning that's making you blush so hard?" Blaire asked jokingly. Indeed, Rory's face was crimson.

"Do you think everyone has a dirty mind like yours?" Rory scolded, but it didn't hide the grin on her face.

Blaire looked at her with a wronged expression. She was clearly joking, yet she was still scolded. She was displeased but didn't dare voice it out loud. Blaire pursed her lips and walked away.

As Blaire left, Sammy walked over. It just so happened that when Blaire left, she managed to see Rory's face, and her whole body trembled with shock.

"Rory, what are you doing here?" Sammy's voice was gentle.

"I came here for sightseeing," Rory replied lazily, her tone laced with sarcasm. Sammy knew she was here as a student; the uniform clearly proved that. T.H.S was a very expensive private school, so how could Rory get in here?

"Rory, I know you want to become educated, but it doesn't mean you should sell your body. A woman's pride is her virginity. It's not good…"

"Enough!" Rory spoke with anger. "Not another word!"

"Rory, I was just trying to…" Sammy said, looking aggrieved.

"Trying to what?" Rory asked mockingly. Did she think she was a fool? She dared to call her a whore. Who did this brat think she was? If it wasn't for the fact that she was in a good mood this morning, she would have already sent her to the hospital.

"If it were some other person who said these words to me, I would have listened. If the child of a mistress can have access to education, why can't I have the same opportunity? You stand here claiming to be self-righteous when all you and your mother know how to do is snatch things that don't belong to you! Next time you utter such unscrupulous words to me again, I will forget about where we are and cut off that loose tongue of yours!" Rory threatened her, her eyes filled with viciousness. She was most definitely not kidding. Rory walked away.

Sammy was left standing there, speechless. She clenched her fists tightly. She would certainly make that fool pay for what she said. What she said was the truth. How could she have the money to afford to come to school unless she hadn't found a sugar daddy? She called her mother a mistress. This was her territory, and she was going to show her she messed with the wrong girl.

Soon after, a rumor started spreading around campus that Rory entered the school through a backdoor entry. When the students heard this, they didn't hold back from making derogatory comments about Rory.

"She looks so innocent, but I never expected her to actually sell her body."

"Education is the best legacy. However, how can she stand with a degree after knowing all the awful things she had done?"

"She came from a poor background, yet she could get into T.H.S. It's not like they give scholarships here."

"I can't believe T.H.S stooped so low to accept a girl like her. Come on, I expected better."

"Well, I'm not really surprised. In this world, money rules. As long as you can pay the price, even a standard school like T.H.S would bend."

"I totally agree!"

"Such a shame really and I thought that she was going to be different and not be like some girls that have no morals, only a pretty face."

"Have you forgotten that the pretty privilege still exists in this era?" A student asked pointedly.

"Yeah, you are right." A girl shook her head in disappointment.

The students, even the teachers, couldn't hide their displeasure about the issue. How could she get in here if she hadn't sold her body to someone? It was really saddening.
