Days felt like weeks as she got weaker and weaker. Doing everything she could to keep moving and fighting her way back. "I can't do this anymore I can't take it." she whispered as her mom came in the room. Carrying a big box wrapped in shinny red paper.
"Whats this for momma?" She asked confused forgetting that Christmas was tomorrow.
"Open it my little girl." She said with a smile on her face.
Slowly opening it she notices her mom start to cry. She pulles out a big fancy suitcase filled with clothes and a new bathing suit and a plane ticket to Hawii. her whole family planned this huge trip for her knowing this could be her last Christmas here.
A couple days pass and she is discharged from the hospital. Maggie is stronger than ever. Loading on the plain she freaked out a little from fear and excitement. Squealing in her seat as she sits down and grandpa puts the bag above her head then takes his seat right beside her.
Grandpa was nice enough to give me the window seat so i can see the whole flight. What felt like minutes was really three hours. Before she knew it they were landing.
In the hotel room she changed and went to the pool. dunking her toe in the water making sure it wasn't to cold so her body didn't go into shock. She jumped in having the greatest time of her life.
Forgetting to seal her tube she got extreamly weak. trying to make it to the edge she starts to slip under the water. A young man names Tylor jumps in the water to pull Maggie's lifeless body out of the water. Coughing up water and mucus she comes back to.
She grabs her bag and takes her meds before thanking him. he asked to walk her to her room to make sure she was okay. Nodding as Maggs get up off the ground still coughing and trying to breathe. They walk back to the room and she kisses him on the cheek before closing the door.
Tylor starts to walk away but was suddenly stopped and turned around to see Maggie standing there. "Can i take you to dinner tonight?" He blurted out without thinking.
She instantly blushed and nodded yes, still not quite able to speak yet. He could tell something was wrong by the was she was just standing there. She still couldn't breathe but that wasn't it. She ran up and kissed him. Shocked he pulled back for a second before kissing her back.
"I'll pick you up at 4:30 right here." He said with a smile on his face then walked way.
