Author's Note:
Hi Author-san here, I know that some of y'all are kinda pissed at the direction my story is headed. And to be honest I don't blame ya, as a fellow reader myself I did witness a lot books that had harem.
Some of which are good, and most of them that ruined the plot. But I can assure y'all that as not just my fellow readers of my book, but as my faithful companions with me on this journey please have some faith in me will ya?
Anyway in regards to some of y'all wondering where's the action, like I posted two days ago it's the calm before the storm.
(No pun intended) And soon shit will hit the fan, that's all the spoiler I'm giving y'all take it or leave it.
(Author crossing arms and looking away)
Anyway let me not bore y'all end get on with it, enjoy 😉

(Reggie's Pov)
After spending time with Maeve, I decided to go through a plan I'd been formulating ever since I reincarnated in this universe. The first step was to steal a couple of vials of Compound V and Temp V, then head to my hidden base.
With my scientific knowledge, honed by an eidetic memory, I aimed to reverse-engineer them, modifying and curbing the negative side effects.
Maybe Seraph could help me, as I needed to experiment with the drugs to understand their effects. I wasn't idle during this time.
While training my girlfriend, I had to show up regularly so the Executives and Members of Vought and the Seven wouldn't suspect my disappearance.
I needed my own base of operations, a undetectable hideout, just in case things went south. It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.
My time spent in the Speedforce wasn't wasted. While most people would call me paranoid, my instincts had never proven me wrong.
I made architectural designs and plans for my hidden base of operations. It took some time, but I drew inspiration from Marvel to create something possible here, with a few personal modifications.
Using my connections, I knew that neither Homelander nor any satellites could pick up anything around the Mariana Trench. As a backup plan, I also set one up in the Bermuda Triangle. Sure, it would have taken decades to build—maybe five or six at the least—but I'm a speedster.
So, I placed the necessary materials for construction around the places of interest and tapped into the Speedforce. It took me hours to construct both bases, leaving me a panting mess.
After taking a break for a couple of hours, I resumed outfitting the bases with the necessary tools and materials. I took care to order zinc in massive amounts, knowing that Homelander couldn't see through it with his enhanced vision.
The bases are large, self-contained structures capable of navigating underwater. They combine elements of a submarine and an aircraft carrier, designed to be both a stronghold and a mobile command center.
My fortress is modular, allowing for sections to be added, removed, or reconfigured as needed. This modularity could facilitate maintenance, upgrades, and expansion if necessary.
The exterior is constructed using advanced materials I ordered, combining titanium and carbon fiber for durability and strength.
The outer shell is then coated with a special zinc alloy and other materials to shield it from radar, sonar, and enhanced vision, like Homelander's.
Since the fortress needs to operate at varying ocean depths, it's designed to withstand high pressure, with reinforced hulls and internal pressure regulation systems.
The fortress uses advanced thrusters to minimize noise and water disturbance, evading detection. These systems are powerful enough to move the massive structure undetected while remaining energy-efficient.
It has advanced stabilization systems, including gyroscopes and ballast tanks, to maintain stability and control depth. Maneuverability is enhanced by multiple thrusters strategically placed around the structure.
Knowing I couldn't do everything on my own, regardless of clones or not, I built an AI system named SPADE. It's not as advanced as Jarvis yet, but it works for now.
My AI-driven navigation system helps plot courses, avoid detection, and respond to threats. It also controls automated systems, from maintenance to defense.
The fortress is armed with turrets capable of firing high-velocity projectiles, torpedoes, and atomized pressurized energy cannons. These are strategically placed to cover all angles of target approach.
Advanced electronic warfare systems can disrupt enemy communications, jam sonar and radar signals, and even hack into nearby systems. These provide a critical layer of defense against detection and attack.
The fortress can deploy countermeasures such as decoy drones, chaff, and flares to confuse and mislead incoming threats like homing missiles.
In addition to its defensive arsenal, the fortress can launch offensives, either through underwater drones or by deploying Supes or specialized vehicles and crew.
The fortress can support covert operations, with facilities for launching stealthy incursions or sabotage missions.
It has advanced life-support systems, including air and water purification, hydroponic gardens, and food storage facilities. It can sustain any inhabitants for extended periods without resupply.
Living quarters are designed for comfort and functionality, offering entertainment zones, recreational bays, and training halls/gyms, ensuring that crew members can work and live in relative comfort.
The fortress houses state-of-the-art scientific labs for research and development, including areas for studying marine biology, scientific research, and other strategic studies.
The medical facilities are equipped to handle everything from routine care to emergency surgeries. Given Seraph's need for her own workspace, it likely includes specialized equipment for treating Supes and normal people if necessary.
The command center is the brain of the fortress, equipped with advanced computers housing my AI, SPADE, communication systems, and monitoring equipment. It's where I could coordinate operations, monitor threats, and direct the fortress's movements. All operations, communications, and movements are tightly controlled and monitored to prevent leaks or detection.
The fortress has secure cells capable of holding prisoners, equipped with security systems to prevent escape. Interrogation rooms are soundproofed and equipped with monitoring equipment.
Thanks to my knowledge as an inventor, the fortress uses advanced camouflage technologies to blend with the ocean environment, making it nearly invisible to visual and electronic detection. Being an assassin with an eidetic memory, capable of not just learning but mastering what I studied with the world's most brilliant scientists and inventors, has paid off.
The fortress is powered by advanced nuclear reactors, ensuring a reliable and long-term energy supply.
Backup power systems, including solar and hydrothermal energy, provide redundancy. SPADE efficiently monitors the resource management systems, including waste recycling and energy conservation measures.
Now, I know many would ask if I'm Elon Musk or how I can afford all this. Well, I'm a skilled hacker. I've stolen money from corrupt officials, mafias, criminal organizations, and those greedy rich people who would rather suck the riches out of the poor.
The money I made was more than enough, and I've used the excess to invest and grow my income. I created multiple offshore accounts in various countries under different aliases, with SPADE actively changing and shifting my IP. I can proudly say I've given the IRS the metaphorical middle finger.
As I stand in the command center of my primary base, watching the various monitors and displays, I feel a rare moment of satisfaction.
These bases are more than just a precaution; they're a testament to my ingenuity and adaptability. I know my actions will eventually attract unwanted attention, potentially from powerful adversaries within Vought or beyond.
But I'll be ready. The world of The Boys is unpredictable and dangerous not just to me regardless of my capabilities but my loved ones, and I need every advantage I can get.
Yet, even as I plan for contingencies, I can't shake a nagging sense of foreboding.
Homelander's recent actions and the growing tension within Vought are troubling. I'm prepared to face whatever comes next, but I can't help but wonder: Will my preparations be enough? The answer is unclear, but one thing is certain—I'm no longer just a puppet in Vought's game. I'm carving out my own path, one way or another.
