Chapter 83: Don't judge a book by its cover!

[Five years later]

"Hey! Soobin-ah! Do you want to be late again? Come On man! Get the hell out! Or else, I'm going to leave you behind!" Beomgyu shouted. He was wearing a brown colored coat and pants. The light brown color suited him perfectly. He was wondering how he should tie the necktie as he didn't know how to. It was almost 9 am and he was gonna be late for his work. Actually, it was him who woke up late. But he was blaming Soobin for not waking him up.

"Just a moment! I'm almost done!" Soobin said loudly from inside. He went to change his clothes. As Beomgyu was yelling at him, he was secretly laughing while dressing up. At last, he came outside. He also wore formal clothes such as light sky blue colored coat and pants.

"I'm done!" Soobin gave his bunny smile which melted Beomgyu's heart and couldn't stay angry at him anymore.

"Hey! Tie it for me." Beomgyu asked cutely and gave the necktie to Soobin.

Soobin took the tie and giggled as he understood why Beomgyu was rushing him. Soobin went towards Beomgyu and put the tie on his neck. He tied it perfectly and stroked it with his hand so that there won't be any wrinkles on the tie.

"Done!" Soobin said.

"Hmm. Perfect, right?" Beomgyu took a look at the mirror and asked Soobin, without looking at him.

"Uhm." Soobin replied and kept staring at him.

"'Okay! Let's go! Oy, won't you put a necktie? It's okay if you don't wanna! I won't scold you today cause you're looking very handsome today anyway!" Beomgyu bit his lips and acted sexy, trying to flirt with Soobin.

"Ah! Really? Then…" Soobin grabbed Beomgyu's tie softly and pulled him towards himself.

"Where's the handsome boy's present?" he whispered into Beomgyu's ear.

Beomgyu blushed and tried to push Soobin, but he failed.

"What present?" Beomgyu was trying his best to act angry, but his tomato-like face was showing how shy he was.

"You want to be reminded?" Soobin finally hugged him and pressed his forehead against Beomgyu's.

"W-we're gonna be l-late!" Beomgyu said in a low voice. He was also smiling though he was shy.

"Then, hurry up and gimme my payment!" Soobin started rubbing his forehead with Beomgyu's. Beomgyu finally raised his head and cupped Soobin's face.

"Hmph! You stubborn fella!" Beomgyu acted as if he was angry. He finally pressed his lips on Soobin's cheek. Although he was enjoying it as Soobin's cheek was very squishy, he moved quickly and went for his other cheek.

*Smooch* *Smooch*

"Happy now! You son of…" Beomgyu smirked and finally got himself free.

"How about another one here?" Soobin showed his lips and asked cutely.

"Aish! You f***r! Save it for later!" Beomgyu smacked on Soobin's shoulder and then he walked away. His ears also turned red. Soobin giggled again and followed Beomgyu after a minute.

The meeting room was quite big. There was a long table in the room, which almost filled the room. The table had nearly twenty chairs. It was a meeting room for dealing with internal and external projects.

"So, you're saying we'll get so much profit with this one project?" Hueningkai asked. The room was quite crowded since a lot of people joined the meeting.

"Yes! If we work together for this project, it's gonna bring success for both of our companies. But, we need an initial fund to start it. As for the profit, we're planning to allocate it by the percentage of capital. Since it's a long project, it's gonna take a while to finish it. We can provide 40% of the fund. So, we're hoping you guys can invest for the rest." Beomgyu stopped to take a breath as he was talking incessantly.

"What did you say was the initial capital again?" Although there were many people sitting there, Beomgyu and Hueningkai were the ones talking the most.

"It's ten million." Beomgyu looked at Kai and said professionally.

"Won?" A guy asked who was sitting beside Hueningkai.

"Uh… dollar!" Beomgyu gave a business smile and said.

"What? Are you sure this is gonna be hit? I mean, it's a lot of money! What if it's a failure?" The guy who had a question before, asked surprisingly.

"Sir! I don't think this project is going to be in a recession!" Beomgyu threw a fake business smile.

"Then, prove us! How's it gonna be successful? It won't be a matter to you anyway since you're just a manager! Moreover, you're still young and don't know how the business world is! That's why you're taking it very lightly! But I think we should think it over before investing our money! We're experienced so leave it to us! We'll inform you after discussing it ourselves!" an old guy said and all of the other board members agreed with him.

"You morons! You think I'm inexperienced! I might be! But I can do way better than you! You're just thinking you can't thieve the money from the company once they invest such a huge amount, isn't it?" Beomgyu cursed them in his mind, but showed a very fake smile.

"But we youngsters know what we like and this is mainly targeted for our young generation. So, in my opinion, you should get your hands outta this!" Beomgyu smirked annoyingly.

"Fine! We're not gonna invest then!" The old guy said as he was trying to mess with Beomgyu.

"I'll invest for the rest! And as for the ambassadors, leave it to me. As I have the stars in my hands." Hueningkai picked his hand and opened his mouth, closing every other person's mouth.

"Thank you! Then, come back tomorrow and sign the official deal with the chairman. The meeting is adjourned." Beomgyu bowed and went outside with a cool face.

"How was it?" Soobin came inside Beomgyu's chamber and asked.

"Don't even ask! Those old farts! They think I can't do anything since I'm young. So what if I'm young? Can't they see I've done so many good deeds before too! And I'm trying my best! I'll learn! But if they don't let me, how'd I learn? Seriously!" Beomgyu was throwing a tantrum which made Soobin laugh silently as he found him very cute.

"Okay okay! Calm down! Should I massage your shoulder?" Soobin went behind Beomgyu and started massaging his shoulder.

"Oh! I like it! Ah! I'm too tired!" Beomgyu closed his eyes and started groaning like an old man. That time, a girl worker opened the door as she wanted some signatures from Beomgyu. She saw Soobin massaging Beomgyu's neck and he was enjoying and ordering Soobin around.

"Yes, press here with more strength!" Beomgyu said without opening his eyes. The girl gasped and closed the door silently just like how she opened the door. She silently walked away as she thought it'd be a bad timing to ask for his signatures.

"Did you see our manager today?" a girl worker said to another.

"Yes! He was so dashing! Oh my gosh! I like him so much!" The other girl giggled while saying.

"Right! He's so cute! He's just my type!" The girl who mentioned Beomgyu earlier said while blushing.

"Hey! Girls! Don't get fooled by his cute appearance!" The girl who just came from Beomgyu's chamber, said shockingly.

"Why're you saying so?" Both of them looked at her curiously.

"You know what I just saw? He called Soobin-sshi just to massage his shoulder! I just went to his room because I need his sign on these papers! But, when I opened the door, I saw Soobin-sshi was massaging his shoulder! And Manager Beomgyu was yelling at him because he wasn't doing a good job! Man! I feel so bad for our Soobin!" The girl said.

"Really? Our colleague Soobin you're mentioning?!" A girl asked surprisingly.

"Who else if it's not him?" The girl replied and sighed.

"Seriously! You can't judge a book by its cover! Our manager is such a bully behind our backs!" the gossip girls were feeling very bad for Soobin.
