Ch1 - I’m happy all the time

In his dimly lit room, Kai, a young boy, slipped on his headphones, connecting the 3.5mm jack to his phone. As he immersed himself in his favorite music, the melodies swept away his worries, bringing a smile to his face. His voice, filled with a carefree joy, joined the chorus:

"I saw the light, I saw the light No more darkness, no more night Now I'm so happy, I'm happy all the time."

First day, the beginning of a new venture:

"Uh, hello to whoever's reading this in the future – hi, Dad. So, I've decided to start a journal. I hope I'll find joy in writing. Koli says it helps her organize her thoughts, so here I am, giving it a try! Today's highlight? I nearly hit 4 seconds in our 60 meters dash test – scored 5.38! It's not quite Yondar's lightning-fast legs, but it's a feat for me. That's it for the first page; I've got a history lesson in three minutes."

In the Sorin household, amidst the ordinary and extraordinary, lived Kai. He was the son of Liam J. Sorin and Eva M. Sorin, the middle child between his older brother Noah and younger sister Luna.

"Here, take this orange," Noah tossed a vibrant, round orange to Kai as he exited the house.

"Th-thanks, Noah," Kai stuttered, his gaze fixed on the orange, a mix of gratitude and confusion in his eyes.

Stepping out, Kai began his walk to school. The dual suns bathed the world in a brilliant light, casting unusual shadows. Birds chirped melodious tunes. 'What a day,' Kai mused, shielding his eyes from the sun's glare. His walk to school was a peaceful interlude in a world where magic intertwined with the mundane.
