I'm a Daring Person ! (Ahaana)

After an unexpected chat session with my mother about her 'first kiss' and mine, she went off to perform her daily chores.

I kept pondering about my 'first kiss' afterwards.

I wanted to keep it my secret, our secret!

I never wanted to share this beautiful memory of mine with anyone else. But maybe this was for everyone's good.

Now my mother officially knew that we were dating. There was no need to hide anything from anyone! If my mother was convinced, I wouldn't care about anyone else, be it my dad or the whole world!

But actually were we? Officially dating? I mean I did confess my feeling for him and even kissed him but there was no reaction from his side. What if he just wants to maintain a distance from me?

The possibility of him refusing my proposal kept me occupied for the rest of the day.

Anxiety took its toll over me during the night time. I couldn't sleep despite have already taken the sleeping pills. Somebody had truly said that Love leaves you in a state of despair.

I couldn't take it anymore so I decided to call Neel.

I spontaneously got up from my bed and rushed to find my cellphone. After typing the password- 'iloveyouneel', my fingers paralyzed.

I couldn't figure out what to do next. With all my hopes lifted up, I dialled Neel's number on the dialpad and waited from him to pick up the call.

"Hello" his masculine voice answered. "Hello Neel! This is Ahaana. Actually I'm very sorry for what happened today. I didn't mean to be so direct and kiss you without hearing about your opinion. So, I thought it'd be the best if I ask you now "

"What do you want to ask then?" He spoke in an uninterested way.

"Umm...I.. I want to tell you that.. No! I mean I want to ask you. Are you interested in me?"

I sighed in relief after having spoken these words that I had kept within me for a long time.

I wasn't sure whether he was gonna accept or refuse but I knew for sure this was the most exciting moment in my life so far...
