I awoke the next morning, finding myself back to my physical appearance once more. A fact that I made sure of by looking into the pool of purple water right next to where I had woken up. However, my sense of calm was shattered in an instant when I realized that Tohr was gone.
In a flash and painlessly much to my relief, I was transformed back to my Draygonian side.
-Ohhhkay, we’ve gotta talk about you taking over. -
-We talk later. Must find mate now. -
She punctuated her words with a roar that shook the cavern.
-Oh, come on, now! - I shouted at her. -You’re gonna bring the cave down on us! -
-Mate!!!-
I groaned and tried to physically push at her to get her to go back inside me. It was a very strange moment, trying to push my way back to the forefront of my mind. She pushed back with a growl and, her sheer anger, fear, and strength that came from it overwhelming me.
-I will bring our mate back. -
