Lantern Festival and Mr. Fiancé

This heavenly festival was not an ordinary celebration; rather, it was a traditional custom that lit up the heavens with a kaleidoscope of hues. The lanterns hung in the vast expanse resembling floating dreams, made of divine materials and imbued with the essence of stardust. Each of the lanterns had intricate patterns that resembled ancient constellations and emanated a gentle, hypnotic light that flowed with the celestial winds.

The lanterns ascended gracefully, wafted by gentle divine breezes, as the celebration got started. They flew across the heavens like fireflies, lighting the night with colours beyond what mankind can comprehend. A heavenly ballet in shades of cerulean, amethyst, and gold decorated the heavens in a breathtaking display of sparkle.

The lanterns expressed the desires and aspirations of divine beings; they were far more than mere illumination bearers. Engraved in the syntax of the cosmos, each lantern conveyed desires, as well as ambitions, and divine blessings. The gentle light emanating from the lanterns carried the energy of the heavens as a whole, creating a symphony that beat rhythmically with the universe.

Heavenly beings, dressed in clothing woven from starlight fibres, flocked to witness the Lantern Festival. Their celestial presence enhanced the majesty of the cosmos display whilst they explored sophisticated paths. Starry melodies played as the lanterns rose higher in the sky, resonating like a celestial orchestra and blazing like flames to the constellations.

The Lantern Festival delighted every sensation; it was far beyond solely a visual extravaganza. Heavenly aromas drifted across the celestial void, a subtle fusion of space flowers and breezy odours that enhanced one's senses.

Amid the apex of the Lantern Festival, the sky was braided together with desires, beliefs, and heavenly beauty. The lanterns, which had been now scattered like celestial flowers, continued emitting their soothing light, forming a heavenly trail in the night sky that acted as a constant reminder of the unity and ambitions of the heavenly realm.

With the soft, entrancing glow of divine lanterns bathing the celestial realm, the Lantern Festival in the cosmos was a perpetual celebration, an immortal dance of warmth and vitality that transcended beyond the limits of time and eternity.

Jacheongbi along with her loyal servant Haeun, walked through the decorated pathways making her way to the end of the bridge, where the lights could be seen clearly. "Your Highness, do you want to light up a lantern too?" Haeun's small voice made Jacheongbi turn in her track.

"What do you think? Do you want to?" Haeun's eyes widened at the princess's sudden question, she immediately bowed in respect the the Goddess.

"Your Highness, I dare not offend you, I just thought you would want to wish for a good life this year." The poor girl felt she had crossed her limits, only when she felt a light hand on her shoulder did Haeun look up from her bow.

"You don't have to bow to me after everything you say!" Haeun's face showed clear confusion as Jacheongbi's demeanour shifted.

The Goddess's sudden kindness was a departure from the reputation she had earned over the ages—a reputation marked by a certain severity and divine wrath. The celestial court spoke in hushed tones of Jacheongbi's occasional displays of anger, which, like tempests, left both Gods and Immortals in awe and fear.

As they reached the end of the bridge, where the lanterns glowed like celestial constellations, Jacheongbi turned to Haeun with a genuine smile that seemed almost uncharacteristic of the Goddess. "Haeun, you are not offending me. Let us both light a lantern and make a wish for the coming year."

Haeun, still grappling with the unexpected warmth emanating from Jacheongbi, nodded hesitantly. They approached a celestial lantern stand adorned with various colours and patterns, each lantern symbolizing different aspirations and blessings.

Jacheongbi carefully chose a lantern embellished with celestial patterns representing harmony, love and prosperity. Heaun, following her lead, selected a lantern adorned with symbols of loyalty, love and devotion. The lanterns, crafted from celestial silk, felt weightless in their hands.

As Jacheongbi held the lantern, she felt an unfamiliar tug at her heart, a yearning for something beyond the heavenly duties that defined her existence. Her mind, clouded by the enigma of her past, sought solace in the simple act of making a wish under the cosmos glow.

Haeun, observing the Goddess's contemplative expression, couldn't help but marvel at the apparent transformation. The Lantern Festival, usually a time of grandeur and cosmic spectacle, had taken an unexpected turn.

Together, they lit the lanterns, releasing them into the night sky. The celestial silk caught the breeze, and the lanterns ascended gracefully, carrying with them the wishes of a Goddess and her devoted servant.

Jacheongbi's wish, though unspoken, resonated with the ethereal winds—a wish to understand her destiny, a desire to unravel the enigma of her past, and perhaps, a longing for a future shaped by choices made in the light of newfound kindness and love.

As the lanterns joined the celestial dance above, their glow merged with the myriad of lights that adorned the heavens. The Lantern Festival, a celebration of renewal and hope, witnessed an unusual chapter in the cosmic narrative—a chapter where gods and mortals alike dared to embrace change beneath the radiant tapestry of the celestial night.

"Your Highness, you look beautiful, God of War, Lee JunHo will be stunned to see your beauty tonight" Jacheongbi's eyes travelled down to her silk dress at Haeun's words.

Out of the countless dresses that were displayed to her, Jacheongbi chose one with flowers graced in an ancient rose-pink silk dress, Its silken threads whispered with the secrets of cosmic elegance, Embroidered with constellations, and it shimmered like a celestial ballet, A gown of ethereal beauty, weaving stardust into the fabric of the heavens.

Yuri did not like the idea of another man falling for her. The word fiance itself sent shivers down her spine. How was she to encounter a stranger and act like she had been in love with him for ages? Jacheongbi would have been fine with him but now that her soul was driven out and replaced by Yuri's it became hard for her to accept reality.

"Haeun, how did he treat me all this time?" Jacheongbi questioned, trying to grasp the situation as much as possible.

Haeun, who had been busy eating one of the sugar-coated apples, looked at Her Highness with a thoughtful gaze. She swallowed the sweet bite and delicately wiped her fingers before responding, "Your Highness, the God of War treated you with unparalleled kindness. He fulfilled your every wish and indulged in showcasing his most tender side, a facet known to very few."

Jacheongbi's brows furrowed as she tried to reconcile the image of the stoic God of War with the revelation of his softer interactions. "But why? Why would he go to such lengths?"

Haeun's eyes sparkled with a glint of mischief as she leaned in, whispering, "It seems, Your Highness, that the God of War harbours affections for you. His stoic exterior crumbles in your presence, revealing a side of him that only you have the privilege to witness."

The revelation struck Jacheongbi like a gentle breeze, leaving her momentarily speechless. The idea of the formidable God of War harbouring feelings for her stirred a blend of curiosity and confusion within her. "Affections?" she echoed, contemplating the implications.

Haeun nodded, her lips curling into a knowing smile. "Indeed, Your Highness. He sought to win your favour in every conceivable way, endeavouring to be the one who could bring a smile to your face." Haeun added with a mischievous glimmer in her eyes. "As your loyal servant, I must say, he did succeed in earning your favour."

Jacheongbi sighed, her gaze distant as she processed the intricate dance of emotions unfolding in the divine realm. The realization that the God of War had taken a liking to her added a layer of complexity to her celestial existence. She wondered how she, a mere mortal soul, could navigate the delicate realm of divine affections.

"How will I recognize him?" Jacheongbi didn't realize that she had said her thoughts out loud.

Haeun's face turned pale as her eyes widened in shock, "Your Highness, You don't remember his face as well? How can it be you have shared such beautiful moments with him!"

Jacheongbi let out a long sigh, how could she tell the poor girl what had been going on inside her head? How could she tell her that the Goddess Jacheongbi she knew was no more the same and her body was now sharing the soul of a young mortal?

Collecting herself, Jacheongbi decided to reframe her question, not wanting to sound suspicious to her devoted servant. "Oh, Haeun, it's not that I don't remember his face, but you know how after hitting my head on the ground, and being diagnosed with Short-Term Memory Loss, it has become hard for me to put focus on my mind and bringing back all the memories that I have lived. I merely wish to know how to spot him amidst the divine beings."

Haeun sighed in relief, her shoulders relaxing. "Your Highness, worry not. Recognizing the God of War is a task as simple as finding the brightest star in the night sky. His magnificence stands unparalleled, and his handsomeness could rival the very gods themselves. Fear not, for when you see him, you will know."

A playful smile tugged at Haeun's lips as she added with extra exaggeration, "His eyes are like orbs of molten gold, and his presence commands the attention of all celestial beings. Trust me, Your Highness, recognizing the God of War will be the least of your concerns; he will stand out like the radiant sun in the divine realm."

Hearing everything Haeun said, Jacheongbi was sure that God Lee JunHo was of high virtue. However, after everything that happened to her mortal self, she found it difficult to accept a man loving her beyond measure. As Kim Yuri, Lee Joon Woo had cheated on her, and now, as the Goddess, she wasn't sure who this God of War was.

The complexity of her emotions swirled within, a tempest of uncertainty and lingering distrust. The scars from her mortal life cast a shadow over the divine interactions, making it challenging for Jacheongbi to fully embrace the affection the God of War held for her.

She decided to tread cautiously, wary of the unknown intricacies that entangled her divine existence. Jacheongbi couldn't help but wonder if this God of War truly knew her, or if his affections were based on a celestial connection that transcended mortal comprehension.

"Hmm, I see-" Just as she began speaking, the crowd started rustling towards the main entrance of the festival. The Goddess's curiosity overpowered her and she eventually found herself staring towards the perimeter walls.

The energy in the air shifted, and a hushed excitement rippled through the gathering as everyone rushed towards the door. Whispers and murmurs filled the space, each attendee eager to catch a glimpse of the renowned God of War who had graced the festival with his presence.

"He's here! The God of War has arrived!"

The exclamations echoed through the crowd as the anticipation reached a crescendo. The air became charged with admiration and awe as the crowd made way for the celestial figure making his entrance. Jacheongbi couldn't help but be intrigued, her gaze joining the multitude fixed on the approaching deity.

As the God of War stepped into the festival grounds, a collective gasp swept through the crowd. His aura radiated power, and his divine presence was enough to captivate everyone in attendance. The festival attendees marvelled at his appearance, skills, and the tales of the heroic deeds that preceded him.

"He's even more magnificent in person!"

"Did you see the way he effortlessly wields his divine weapon?"

The crowd buzzed with comments on his unparalleled strength, unmatched combat skills, and engagement with the Goddess of Beauty, Jacheongbi. Some spoke in hushed tones about the intriguing connection between the God of War and the notoriously rude Jacheongbi, adding an element of gossip to the festive atmosphere.

"Your Highness, see, I told you, you don't need to recognize him. Wherever he goes, there are talks about him." Haeun whispered with a hint of excitement, her eyes wide with admiration.

Jacheongbi couldn't help but acknowledge the truth in Haeun's words. The God of War's presence indeed commanded attention, and the festival seemed to come alive with the energy surrounding him. As the whispers of awe and admiration continued, Jacheongbi found herself caught in the spectacle of divine charisma.

With a gentle smile, Jacheongbi continued to observe the godly figure who had become the centre of attention, allowing herself to feel his aura. As the God of War made eye contact with her, a sudden jolt of anticipation ran through her divine being. The Goddess felt a mixture of curiosity and a touch of panic as the formidable deity approached her amidst the festival's lively atmosphere.

The God of War, Lee JunHo, seemed to navigate through the crowd with ease, his eyes locked onto Jacheongbi's. As he neared, the Goddess couldn't help but feel her blood run cold, as if the entire universe was asking her to run away from the festival and hide so that she could never be found again. Her heart quickened, and the vibrant energy of the festival seemed to intensify in the wake of his approach.

With a polite nod, the God of War acknowledged her presence. "Your Highness, I apologize for not contacting you all this time. The attacks on the skies by the AquaOcean Realm demanded my attention," he explained, his voice resonating with a calm authority.

Jacheongbi, caught off guard by the unexpected encounter, struggled to find her words. The God of War's apology hung in the air, and the divine atmosphere crackled with unspoken sentiments.

"Huh, I didn't even notice," Jacheongbi unintentionally exclaimed, her words louder than she had intended. The God of War, Lee JunHo, sighed in disappointment, and an awkward silence lingered between them. The festival's lively energy seemed to dim momentarily as the goddess struggled to compose herself.

'Wow where was all this coming from' Yuri could feel herself slowly turning into the real Goddess. Not only could she feel her words turn harsher but her actions and gestures took her by surprise.

As Jacheongbi felt the discomfort of the situation, she couldn't shake the sense that the God of War's aura felt different, almost unpleasant to her divine senses. The lack of connection she expected was palpable, and it left her feeling adrift in the celestial currents.

Attempting to salvage the moment, Jacheongbi recalled the goddess's known penchant for rudeness. In an attempt to mimic the persona she once inhabited, she raised an eyebrow and adopted a sassy tone. "Well, I suppose even Gods have their problems to deal with. It's not like you're the centre of the universe or anything," she retorted, a faint smirk playing on her lips.

'Wow where was all this coming from' Yuri could feel herself slowly turning into the real Goddess. Not only could she feel her words turn harsher but her actions and gestures took her by surprise.

Lee JunHo's eyes flickered with a mix of surprise and amusement at Jacheongbi's sudden shift in demeanour. The unexpected sass from the Goddess seemed to inject a playful energy into their interaction. He chuckled, breaking the tension that lingered in the air.

"Well, it seems the Goddess of Beauty has a bite as sharp as her wit. I've missed that," Lee JunHo replied, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. The God of War's ability to roll with the unexpected banter spoke volumes about his understanding of the goddess's multifaceted nature.

Yuri, now fully immersed in the role of Jacheongbi, couldn't help but marvel at the seamless integration of the goddess's personality. The festival continued around them, the lively celebration providing a backdrop to the divine exchange between the Goddess of Beauty and the God of War.

The festivalgoers observed the interaction with a mix of awe and curiosity, as the divine beings showcased the intricate dance of their personalities, each step revealing the layers of their immortal existence. The lanterns overhead flickered with a warm glow, casting a celestial radiance on the divine drama playing out beneath them.

"Your Majesty, I am sorry for the intrusion, but this is important," A man clad in battle-worn armour, bowed before the God of War, his silhouette a testament to countless campaigns etched in the annals of time.

His helmet, adorned with the marks of victorious struggles, conceals a gaze that has seen both glory and despair. The echoes of clashing swords and war drums resonate in the aged metal, a hymn to battles waged in the name of the divine. With a weathered hand, he presents a parchment chronicling some syntax symbols.

"HOW CAN YOU LET THIS HAPPEN IN YOUR PRESENCE, KIM SOEKGI HOW CAN MIN HYUN WOK TAKE AWAY SUCH A SACRED POSSESSION IN BROAD DAYLIGHT" The once calm aura of the War of God was now replaced with complete rage. "AND YOU ARE REPORTING THIS TO ME NOW?"
