February began with a biting cold that seemed to mark the beginning of a new month of promise and possibility. "You know," Kendall began as she began to eat, "I really appreciate everything you do for me. Ever since that day you comforted me, I feel like our relationship has changed into something much more special."

Thomas looked at her, his gaze soft and attentive. "I feel that way too, Kendall," he said sincerely.

"And it's good to know that I can be more than just a security guard for you. I really care about you, and I'm here for anything you need." Kendall smiled, her gaze full of gratitude.
