Honestly, Aiden was not surprised when Ryan did not show up at the agreed time.
But this time, he did not mind that much anymore.

It was three days before the new student registration period ended. The headmistress did not expect Aiden to show up, but show up he did. And he had all the legal documents with him, too.
The headmistress scrutinized every legal document, searching for possible flaws that pointed out document forgery.
Fortunately, the documents were real, bearing an official stamp from the Dominion City Council.
It was just rather unbelievable that a vampire was willing to be the guardian of a human child.
