Brett planned to kiss Zane as many times as necessary to make the latter agree to his marriage proposal, but Zane ruthlessly pushed him away.
"Go back," he snarled. "I still need to find that blasted Blackfire Island."
Brett pouted.
"We just made love and you are kicking me out. You are too cruel."
"We Caldwells are known for being cruel," Zane snapped.
Unable to engage in an argument while looking at Zane's naked body, Brett decided to give in.
"Okay, I will go now. You can play detective and find that Blackfire Island."
"Mmm."
They both got dressed, and then Zane sent Brett off at the front door.
"Go straight back to the dorm," Zane said. "It is too late to play around."
"Oh, geez," Brett murmured.
Zane was acting like a seventy-year-old grandfather again. Age truly did not lie. Not in Zane's case.
"Did you hear me?" Zane's voice became stern.
"Yes, yes, I heard you." Brett wrapped his arms around Zane's body and pressed a kiss on his lover's lips.
