Alain's New Home
Just like everyone else who had the chance to leave human society and be part of the vampire community, Alain Matthews too was impatient to go back home with Ryan.
Ryan was surprisingly rather distant. He absent-mindedly agreed to let Alain come back with him to Zen Space, but otherwise, he was occupied with his phone.
He kept trying to call someone who did not pick up the phone. The more he failed to talk to that someone, the darker Ryan's expression became.
Alain could see that the person meant a lot to Ryan. Possibly his spouse. But Alain had not heard a word about Ryan being close with anyone as of recently.
Not on his own accord, at least. Having followed news about Ryan Caldwell for years to the point of obsession, he naturally knew about the shameless woman Jenny Parsons who dared to lay her dirty hand on the prince.
She did not deserve Ryan at all.
Ryan deserved someone better.
Someone like Alain.
