***Character Focus***

**In this chapter, the story focuses on Ethan's and the pack witch; Amelia's Day out. Dahlia is still taking a rest and is a continuation of the Chapter; Rise and Shine. Story timeline is still in the same day, but will also elaborate on the books week that was skipped, when Amelia helped Dahlia and Ethan and were released from the hospital***

Amelia and Ethan walked in stride as they made their way towards the pack town. Amelia usually stays in the pack town, so that her and the wolves can bond. A pack witch needs to be accepted by everyone so that the family addition is harmonious. The pack has been friendly but Amelia can tell that they don't trust her like Dahlia. The soilders built Amelia her own small little house just outside of the main town. It's an adorable little cottage style house. A single level house, that has just the perfect amount of space. One bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a basement. When Lockhart showed her to her living quarters she was blown away. Amelia couldn't have thought of a more perfect house for her; it's like they knew her mind. What was even more impressive is that, the house was built in less than a week. Amelia's impression of wolves has certainly changed. Can you blame her? Her only impression of wolves. was that of Lord Ulrich.

When the house was ready, Dahlia took her to pick out some furniture and necessities for the house. Dahlia even offered to help her paint the inside. Amelia declined the offer, she wanted to bring an extra magical touch to the cottage. Amelia chose a light grey paint, and infused it with a magical protection barrier. This was important to her since, some magical spells, potions, and tonics can become combustible. That's why a witch chooses a location underground, it makes magic more stable, the closer it is to mother nature. That's why she has a basement. Amelia can store her, herbs, potions and tonics inside, infused with a magical barrier to ensure optimal safety to the wolves. Dahlia was very pleased that Amelia came to this decision on her own. Dahlia doesn't want to micromanage her. The only thing Amelia was waiting for is her cauldron. Yes, it may sound cliqué but a cauldron is the only thing that contain magic.

Amelia and Ethan arrived at the protection mirror. Amelia was amazed but the mirror spell and it's power. The magic felt so familiar but she couldn't place her finger on it. Ethan and Amelia walked through and the pack town came into view. The hustle and bustle of the town put a smile on their faces. There was never a dull moment in town. With the Lunas upcoming engagement and then marriage, there was a lot to do.

"Let's go to the pack hospital first and then we can run the errands" Ethan said. Amelia shook her head. "Sounds good to me" she replied. Ethan and Amelia walked towards the pack hospital and passed by waving pack members, some giving their support on Ethan's recovery. "Looking good sir!" A younger male yells. Ethan waves his hand and hollers back "Thanks!". Small children run around them and it warms Amelia's heart. Children are so innocent and don't pass judgment. Ethan and Amelia finally reach the front door of the hospital. Ethan opens the door for Amelia and they walk in. Nurse Rose is sitting at the waiting desk. She's reading a book kt magazine, she looks up at their approaching footsteps.

"PT room is ready, Lockhart said he'd do your PT today" Rose states pointing and going back to what she was reading. Ethan chuckled at her. Ethan lead Amelia to the PT room and a frustrated Lockhart was waiting. "A little late today" he says Looking at his watch. "Sorry it took so long, breakfast ran late" Ethan said nervously rubbing the back of his neck. Amelia stayed quiet and observed. "I brought company along" Ethan said with a smile, trying to calm down his long time friend. "Hi Amelia, glad you came. I'll need your counsel once we're done" Lockhart said coldly still staring down Ethan. "Okay... sure" Amelia said with confusion behind the mysterious comment.

Amelia sat in the Physical Therapy room, in a super comfy chair. When she sat, she sunk a little. Ethan was up on the work table and she watched as Lockhart stretched out his legs. "The movement in your legs have improved and I can tell that your rebuilding muscle" Lockhart said to Ethan. "I've been eating every chance I can and I've been doing most of my exercises in my spare time" Ethan replied. "Do you still have any pain?" Lockhart asked. Ethan thought hard before answering. "I'm not in pain anymore but I still get fatigued" Ethan stated. Lockhart gave a small smile. "Fatigue is pretty normal, being in a coma that long, your body isn't used to working" Lockhart expressed. "That's why we are still doing physical therapy?" Ethan asked. Lockhart nodded his head yes. "Muscles have memory. We constantly moved your arms and legs so there was less risk of atrophying. Now that you're awake we need to constantly keep your muscles loose until you fully heal." Lockhart stated.

Amelia sat quietly as she observed the doctors treatment and movements. Lockhart moved Ethan's arms and legs around in various different exercises. Lockhart also put a heating pad on his back and massaged out certain knotted areas. Ethan sounded like a child as you heard a random giggle, and ouch as Lockhart worked on him. An hour later Lockhart called her over, snapping her out if deep thought. "Hey Amelia you can come over now" Lockhart said as he.made a waving gesture with his hand. "Right, be right there" Amelia said as she sprung up from her comfy chair. "How can I help you?" Amelia asked still confused. Lockhart had a serious look on his face before he made his request.

"I'd like you to check on Ethan's spiritual well-being" Lockhart asked. "Oh, right, that's no problem" Amelia said. "Ethan do I have your permission to check on you?" Amelia asked. "Was asking him necessary?" Lockhart asked with curiosity. Amelia gave him a smile. "With his consent it makes it much easier to bridge the gap, between him and I" Amelia stated. "What does that mean?" Ethan asked confused. "It means I won't have barrier to get past" Amelia stated with a big smile. "Okay, so what do you need me to do?" Ethan asked. Amelia had enthusiasm in her eyes which made.him feel at ease. "Let's just sit on the floor, and face each other" Amelia said with a hand gesture. Ethan shrugged his shoulders and got up from the work table and sat on the floor.

"Lockhart, it's important you're not in the circle and I don't get disturbed" Amelia said seriously. "Understood, I'll let the nurses know to not disturb us. Is the waiting chair far enough?" Lockhart asked. "Oh yeah that's plenty far. I love that chiar by the way" Amelia said with a huge smile on her face. "Once your seated, I'll begin. Remember, it's the utmost importance not to step unti the circle" Amelia urged sgain. Lockhart shook his head in compliance and went and sat in the chair, Amelia once occupied.
