Chapter 5

Finally, the day Cain had to set off arrived. In the morning, a luxurious carriage adorned with the symbol of the Ravenclaw family was stationed outside the Ravenclaw house. The carriage bore the symbol of a dark crow flying within it.

When the time was right, Cain emerged from his room with his belongings carried by workers. Upon reaching the gate of the main house, he found his father, mother, grandfather, and brother waiting for him.

As the workers began loading his belongings into the carriage, his mother's concerned voice rang out, "Cain, remember to take care of yourself and prioritize your own safety above all. Never take risks, even for significant gains. To us, what matters is not your strength but you yourself."

"Yes, Cain, I also agree with your mother's words. Remember, even if you face difficult challenges, don't be discouraged and keep seeking the bright path forward," said Craig with a worried tone.

"Brother, don't worry even if you can't become a wizard. Just come back here; we are always here for you. If you need anything, just tell us. Although we might not be able to wholly help you, we can at least share some of your burdens," said Tenis, his brother, while patting his shoulder.

"Little Cain, be careful on your journey," said his grandfather Alex. Even though his face seemed stoic, the care in his tone couldn't be suppressed.

Moved by the words of his family members, Cain felt a bit emotional. However, knowing that he had to proceed, he resolutely entered the carriage with the head butler.

Accompanying him was their head butler, Albert, as his father was busy managing the territory, while his grandfather had to ensure safety at the borders. Although Albert appeared to be a weak and elderly butler, in terms of strength, he was second only to Cain's father and grandfather, i.e., at the peak of Earth Knight.

Once aboard, Cain ordered the carriage, along with a small group of well-trained soldiers, to set off.

As the carriage began to move, Cain saw many familiar faces, such as his personal maid Renna, knight instructor Alfred, and various others, waving him goodbye from the walls of the fort.

Steeling his heart once again, Cain resolved to continue his journey. After a few minutes, the fort disappeared from his view, and he arrived at the main city under his family's rule, Blackwood City.

The passing, highly-guarded carriage sparked a wave of discussion among the crowd. However, upon seeing the emblem, they recognized it as belonging to a direct blood relative of Marquis Ravenclaw.

Ignoring the crowd, the carriage continued its journey towards the Bay Port in the Freldin Empire.

The journey continued for about two weeks, during which they rested at night and resumed their journey each morning. Although they did not encounter wandering knights, bandits, etc., it was a new experience for Cain, as it was his first time traveling in his eleven years since arriving in this world.

Upon arriving at the Bay Port, the butler began arranging accommodation for about a week.

After booking a good residence, the butler arranged a room for Cain.

While awaiting the day of departure to the wizard continent, Cain decided to visit the famous Bay Port.

On the first day, Cain began exploring the Bay Port with Albert, starting with tasting various delicacies and then visiting many public places such as the market, beach, caves, etc.

Although being from a prominent family could have afforded more comfort during travel, due to secrecy, the emblem of the Ravenclaw family was removed upon their arrival in the Freldin Empire, making them appear as wealthy merchants to others.

After enjoying enough, Cain was reminded by his bracelet that there was only one day left before the ship arrived at the Bay Port. He informed Albert, as he was one of the few who knew about Cain's journey to the wizarding continent.

After the night passed, with sunlight streaming through the curtains, Cain woke up. After getting dressed, he went downstairs for lunch.

After lunch, he received another message from his bracelet stating that the ship would arrive at Bay Coast in about two hours. He informed Albert, and they both secretly set off under the pretense of going to explore.

Arriving at the main port, they were greeted with the sight of ships loading and unloading various containers. These ships mostly traveled from the nearest continent to the Czar continent, i.e., the Sumeru Continent, which was a major exporter of grains, wheat, etc., due to its vast fertile land.

While observing the various ships coming and going, about two hours passed unknowingly.

Suddenly, the entire port became shrouded in a thick mist, which went unnoticed by the other people around the port. Seeing even Albert not reacting, Cain moved towards him to investigate. After shaking him, Albert seemed to jolt awake, looking around alertly. Seeing Cain safe and sound, he let out a sigh of relief.

Observing Albert's state and confirming with him, Cain was certain that Albert, along with the entire port, was under some sort of hypnotic influence, unable to perceive any changes in their surroundings. This realization left him in sheer awe of wizards.

With a sound emanating from the seaside, Cain watched as the mist parted, revealing a huge ship made of a mixture of wood and metal, adorned with various runes. As the ship docked at the port, with a shocked Albert by his side, Cain headed towards it. He noticed that, in addition to himself, there were four other people approaching the ship.

While he was near the ship, he noticed a person wearing a black robe with his face covered in bandages, leaving only black eyes visible, standing on the hull of the ship. Much to Cain's shock, the person suddenly appeared between him and the other four people. His sudden appearance startled all of us, prompting us to take a fighting pose, but his eyes conveyed a lazy indifference.
