Chapter 10 The New Hunter

Thomas look's at a giant map on his wall "they must be here somewhere our bandit camps have stopped reporting in from the north" Thomas sighs he need's to find the sacrifices "okay can you do this task I will be giving you?." he turn's to a figure in a large black overcoat with a hockey mask on his face.

The figure nods and walk's out of the tent Thomas strokes his chin "we will kill the traitor and take back what is ours" Jason look's at a small camp site from a distance with a rifle scope. Samantha crouches beside him "what do you see" Jason shrugs "not much just a small group maybe five or more."

As he say's that a barrel of a gun is poked at the back of his head a young man's voice is heard "don't move or I'll blow you're head off" Jason raises his hand's Samantha follows Jason's leads. They are lead to the camp where about six other's look at Jason and Samantha they are lead to a women who has black hair with a few lines of silver hair.

Jason blinks a few time's the women nearly fall's to her knees "Jason....my boy you're alive" she walk's up to him and wrap's her arm's around him. Jason smile's it's nice to see you too mum Samantha look's shocked "I thought we lost you in the raid" Jason pulls away "I thought you died me and Chloe both did."

Jason's mother look's at the ground "you're father did but I'll explain later who is this young women by you're side she look's gorgeous" Samantha's gets get red cheeks Jason smile's and take's her hand. "This is Samantha my girlfriend Samantha this is mother Abigale" Samantha smile's shyly "she's shy mum she'll talk soon now I should call Chloe over."

Jason whistles out to Chloe she walk's down with Amelia Hannah and Mia following behind her Abigale and Chloe have a big huge hug "oh my god my baby girl is all grown up you both have." Chloe smile's widely her and mother where always the closer out of the two Jason usually went hunting with his father.

"you guy's must be hungry come sit and I'll tell you what is going on" Jason sits by a campfire Samantha leans against Jason's shoulder as the wind blows her hair "I like you're mum she's nice." Jason smile's "yea she has an effect on people."

Samantha look's at the fire she look's exhausted her face is more pale than usually and she has slight bag's under her eye's she let's out a yawn. "we should get some sleep especially you it's been a rough couple of week's" Samantha nods she stand's up and walk's over to their tent which sits under a tree.

Jason stand's up and see's something move from the corner of his eye it ran into a pile of bushes in the wood's near the camp Jason brushes it off as just a small animal like squirrel or a fox. Jason look's into the night sky the moon shines brightly he smile's to himself it's so peaceful here everything melts away Jason feel's pain shoot up his arm a large arrow stick's out Jason look's around.

Jason feel's his body become weightless and the he hit's something hard warm blood trickles down his nose he is dazed and everything is blurry Jason tries to go for his handgun. "The order will have you" Jason knows that voice from somewhere but he can't think straight the figure approaches him with a bow and arrow's wearing a black hood Jason stand's up.

Jason run's at the figure and tackles him to the ground they both struggle to gain control Jason is punched in the ribs where he's pretty sure one or two have just broke. Jason punches the figure in the face but does little damage Jason then feel's a small prick in his neck he body burn's in pain Jason gets up from the figure fall's to his knees he can't speak or even move black line's move up his body and darkness closes in.

The last thing he see's is being dragged away and then the figure falling to the ground with someone on top of him.
