She felt disturbed since the second her son called her to tell her his happy news. She didn't know what to do except to sound happy for him and in the process asked for the woman's number. She has told her son that she just wanted to talk to her and see for herself what kind of a woman she was.
She sighed as she wiped her hands as she waited for the woman her son was seeing in the private room of the restaurant she had booked earlier for the meeting. She had never seen Emerald in person before except in tabloids and magazines. At one point her son was involved in a scandal with her and it worried her that time. Her son had told her that she was the woman he had been in love with and somehow she broke things off with him. So she was surprised when she heard her son's intentions regarding marrying a woman he had just met and a woman who graces the tabloids with powerful people like she does.
