Testing

It seems that she had found out about my presence. I stepped out from behind the entrance and walked toward her.

I bowed to her the moment I reached her, "Your Highness."

The boy next to her kept staring at me. His presence was already annoying me and now his gaze. I then realized that the thing that annoyed me the most about him was that he was a Dragon because Liam was also one of them. It was all because of him.

Mia glared at me, "What were you doing there?"

I scratched my head, "I was just coming in and saw someone new here so I just stopped to see who it was?"

She smiled, "Do you think I will believe you?"

I stared at her wordlessly, "Ummm... Don't know."

The boy looked at Mia, "Your Highness if this person is bothering then let me punish him."

Huh... Punish me. I glared at him.

Mia laughed, "No need. You are not strong enough to fight him."

The boy looked at me, "Let me try, as long as it is someone causing trouble for you. I will crush such people."

"Are you asking for death by saying those words? Kid do you even know who I am?", I looked at him in anger.

I nodded, "Sure."

"Both of you enough", Mia said angrily.

"Lin, he is Leng Feng. One of the Magical Dragons. His brother, the last leader is one of the victims. Feng wants to be my guard and avenge his brother. Feng, he is my most trusted subordinate or you can say my right hand. His name is Lin Yang, one of the Magical White Wolves. You shouldn't disrespect him from now on", Mia said.

He bowed to her, "As you wish Your Highness."

I laughed, "Boy you see, you should better apologize."

Mia stared at me, "Lin, you should also show some care to him like an elder brother and master because from this moment on you are his master. I hope you won't let me down."

My mouth was wide open," His master. Am I going to have such a disciple? Huh... If you say so, then I won't disappoint you."

He nodded.

"Now you should leave with Hao. I have something important to do", Mia smiled at him. It annoyed me.

He nodded, "Then I will be going Your Highness."

He then left.

Mia then turned to look at me, "You arrived earlier than usual."

I looked at her, "Mia, I am sorry for the rude behavior yesterday."

She nodded, "It's okay."

"Are you sure?", I asked her.

She nodded.

She started walking around, "Lin, soon something big is going to happen. We will be soon fighting against evil spirits. Are you mentally and physically ready for it?"

It seems as if she wants to say something but couldn't say it. I nodded, "I am always ready. As soon as you will call for me I will be there."

She smiled, "I am happy that you are ready. Lin, no one knows what will happen after the fight. Lin, please be careful regarding Liam. He is much more powerful than our expectations. You are at great risk due to his presence."

She sighed deeply. I put my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me and smiled.

I smiled back, "Mia you don't need to worry about anything as long as you have me."

Later, I began training with Mia. This time she was testing all that I had learned.

"Lin, you had indeed improved a lot", she smiled at me.

I breathlessly spoke, "All thanks to your and Hao's training."

She looked at me, "Let's begin with the element that you can control the best."

I nodded, "Light."

She smiled, "No one knows better than me how good you are at it. Then let's start."

I activated the thunder power. My whole body was covered in sparks.

Mia summoned a sword and charged toward me. I was almost hit but luckily dodged the attack. She attacked a few more times and I easily dodged it.

Mia looked at me and smiled. The sword in her hand disappeared and all of a sudden a few small thunderbolts rushed toward me. I was lucky to notice it in time and created a huge thunderbolt and threw it toward the little ones.

"Boom...", there was a blast as they hit each other and the air was filled with dust that flew from the ground due to the pressure of the blast. After the blast, they disappeared. As soon as the dust vanished, Mia appeared with a thunder ball in her hand.

"Oh no", I changed my form and instead of running away from her, I rushed towards her with the speed of light. I ran so fast that I didn't even notice that I had run quite far away from her.

When I opened my eyes and turned around Mia was standing at quite a distance and I was at the other end of the arena.

I changed back my form as soon as I realize that Mia was not going to attack anymore. I walked towards her.

She was standing still. The moment I reached her she burst out laughing, "Oh dear, hahaha. I never expected that this big wolf would be scared of me so much that he would run so fast."

I felt myself smiling. I felt my heart delighted.

Mia came close to me and began to pat my head, "This wolf had finally grown up. I am happy to see that now you can protect yourself. Although you are not allowed to stop training because we should learn as much as possible. The more you learn the more will you be improving? As for your other element's power, leave them to another day. It's not good for your body to use so much power. You should take it slowly and not force your body. When you fill up a balloon with too much air it will burst at the end."

With those words, she walked away. What does she mean by those words?
