Perfect Couple

The ball soon started. Mia and the twins removed their masks. The whole Hall was shocked to see Mia. The Yang Family members rushed to welcome them.

The first round of dance started. Mia told Cheng to dance first with Liana.

Mia was standing there with Lin. Lin looked at her and smiled, "Umm... Beautiful lady, will you give me the honor to dance with you."

Mia chuckled and gave him her hand, "Sure."

He kissed her hand and took her to the center of the Hall. They both began to dance.

The Hall was filled with whispers. They looked like a beautiful couple.

Everyone's gazes were fixed on them. The first round ended but they were still dancing.

"We should stop. The round is over", Mia whispered to Lin.

He smiled, "I am aware but I can't stop myself. Let's have this second round together as well."

They were looking into each other's eyes and continued the dance with the flow of the music.

Everyone around them stopped dancing. They were the only ones dancing. Liam's hands clenched into fists. He was furious to see them dancing together like that.

On the other hand, Ju Yang was furious.

After they finished the second round, they bowed. The whole Hall was filled with the sound of clapping.

In the next round, Mia danced with Cheng, while Liana with Lin.

The third round ended. Mia and the twins went to the side to take a break. Lin followed them. Mia accidentally picked the wine glass instead of the juice. Lin snatched it from her hands.

"You should be careful. You are not supposed to drink wine", he said while handing her the juice.

Mia smiled, "Okay boss."

They were talking with each other. In the meanwhile, Hai and Liam both came at the same time.

"Mia you look stunning", Liam said.

"Thanks, a lot", Mia replied.

He knelt, "Would you like to dance with me?"

Mia nodded, "Sure, after all, it's a promise."

She looked at Hai, "Were you about to say something?"

He scratched his head, "I just wanted to ask you for dance but you are already taken away."

Mia smiled, "I am sorry but don't worry the next round will be with you."

He smiled, "Alright, but if you don't mind then, can I take your sister till the next round?"

Mia looked at Liana, "What do you say, Liana?"

She was a bit shy and nodded.

Cheng was angry, "Sister what about me? When will be my turn?"

On the other hand, Lin was also frustrated, "What about me?"

Mia was confused by these jealous men, "Both of you are crazy."

She went away with Liam to dance. Lin was extremely angry seeing her dance with the person he hates. He was alright with her dancing with Cheng but not with someone else.

After they finished their round Liam spoke, "Thanks a lot for giving me the honor of dancing with you."

Mia smiled, "After all, I had promised and I never break promises."

Mia then danced with Hai. Lin was burning on fire. He was disgusted by seeing her with other men.

"Mia you look really beautiful. It seems that Liana is beautiful because she had a sister beautiful like you", Hai whispered.

Mia smiled, "So, you are interested in my sister?"

He blushed, "It's not that. I was just telling what I observed."

Mia chuckled, "Seriously, stop blushing like girls. You are really shy."

He even blushed more.

Later on, Hai cut the cake. After dinner, the party was over. Guests were going back.

"Hai, please look after Liana and Cheng", Lin told Hai and grabbed Mia's hand.

He took her with him. " Where are we going?", Mia asked him but he remained silent.

They then reached a room. Lin took her inside and closed the door.

"Why did you bring me here", Mia asked him.

He went to his wardrobe and came back. He was holding something behind himself, "You ask a lot of questions. It is my room. I brought you here because I had something to give you."

He knelt and brought out a big peach-colored bear from behind himself.

Mia was surprised to see it and took it from him, "It's so cute."

Lin smiled and grabbed his ears, "I am sorry Mia. I was about to do this the day before yesterday but didn't get time. That day you were angry because of me and I thought that you might don't talk to me again."

Mia laughed, "You are silly. Now hurry and get up or else I will be angry again. Then you would have to buy another bear."

He smiled and got up.

Mia saw Lin's mother's picture frame. She went close to the frame and picked it up.

"This is my mother", Lin told her.

"I don't know but I felt familiar with her. That's why I was attracted to her picture", Mia said.

Lin smiled, "Of course. You should be attracted to her. After all two beautiful people would be automatically attracted to each other."

Mia did some magic and the bear disappeared, "I sent it home."

Mia and Lin went back. Ju Yang was extremely angry to see both of them together.

Mia and the twins reached home.

Mia took a bath and then went to bed. The bear was there. She fell asleep while hugging it.

"Mom, you finally met her. Wasn't she beautiful? Uh... what am l thinking?" Lin said while holding his mother's picture frame.

"I don't know why she had this effect on me. I can't see her with any other man. I can't see her sad. I feel excited when she smiles. Mia are you sure that you are not Mi?",

he said.

Ju Yang was angry. She took the glass and threw it on the wall.

"Lin Yang, you must die. Only my son is suitable for Mia. Who are you to come between them? I will kill you", she said with a wicked laugh.
