THE BLACK CROWN-20-

The room had lost all traces of warmth, replaced by a bone-chilling coldness that pierced the air David took labored breaths, gasping for air, as he felt his throat was burning . He stared at the sight before him, Han's eyes were dead without any hint of shining light and now possessed by a cold, yellow hue.

Han's icy voice shattered the silence, asking, "What are you doing in my room?" He pulled out a dagger, its sharp blade gleaming with ominous intent.

Han moved with deliberate slowness, his yellowed eyes locked on David. His grip on the dagger tightened, and he continued to walk towards the immobile David.

"You shouldn't be alive now," Han stated, his tone dripping with sarcasm. His smile held no warmth, only a cruel taunt.

David tried to move, but it seemed as if an invisible force held him down , preventing him from doing anything. He closed his eyes as Han raised the dagger high.

However, the moment was shattered by Aria's voice calling out for David. Han cursed under his breath, "Fuck, I can't do anything."

Annoyed, Han muttered a few magic spells, releasing David from the magical trap that had immobilized him.

"You are lucky but just to inform you i put a deadly spell~ if your mouth decides to open up about what just happened you would be dead in spot" han smirk as he walk to hide the life core

David took deep, ragged breaths, struggling to catch his breath after the near-death experience. He couldn't believe what had just occurred. Had he really been on the brink of death?

As he caught his bearings, he cast a glance at Han. He mentally noted, "Don't mess with that demon,"

Han swiftly hid the life core before turning to the door, encountering Aria's presence."Oh han you are here?" Aria says as she looks at han who was standing next to the door

A friendly and lovely smile graced his face, his tone light and playful. "Well, if it isn't Aria. It's been a long time!"

"Yeah it indeed been long time but anyway did you saw a strange demon a long with black hair and blue eyes?"

Han responded nonchalantly, playing at ignorance. "A new demon? I'm not positive if I've seen anyone fitting that description. I've been in my room this whole time, after all!"

As he spoke, Han snuck a glance at David, who was pathetically sitting on the floor, a flicker of disdain in his eyes.

"Maybe he is in garden?" Aria mumbled to herself as she looked at han "how is eric? I was so busy to check on him since charles was with me discussing about what happened! I can't believe that assistant was the one behind all the chaos!"

Han let out a sigh of disappointment. "Indeed, that guy was pretty stupid to leave any trace. he really should have hidden his tracks better!" aria looks at him with side eyes she couldn't never understand han at all

"Anyway i will go find david and then we can go see eric!" "As you wish!" Han waved at her before heading back to his room. However, to his surprise, there was no sign of David within the room. It appeared that David had escaped through the window, even though they were on the second floor.

"Pff well finally something exciting is about to happen" han says as he closes the window.
