Chapter 5:Arrival of The Ex

ARIA'S POV～

 At the words of his mother I pass the phone to my boss and he cringes immediately when his mother starts yelling and threatning the man who just sits there obediently listening to all his mother's scoldings like a child.

 I control myself from laughing at him and he seems to notice as he glares at me and I instantly straighten.

 His mom Rosaline Castillio is a very nice and sweet woman,with blonde hair and blue eyes one can swear she is not a day older than her mid thirties at how beautiful she looks.

 Her relationship with her husband is enviable as it is the same as my mom and dad's relationship.

 She and my mom have been friends since school and my dad and his dad too.

My train of thoughts are broken when Ihear a sudden commotion in the hallway and I use my hand to gesture to my boss that I'll be back and he nods.

 I walk outside and stop to observe the scene in front of me.

 The boss's ex janeth jones a very famous celebrity stands there arguing with the secretary more like insulting the poor girl.

''I'll have Adonis fire you''She says her voice hauty and sure,I almost roll my eyes at her ridiculous claims.

 The way she is lying without guilt is amusing and I wonder if she thinks she is still with the boss.

 When I say Ex I don't mean relationship ex but more like your bed partner ex,seems miss celebrity finds that hard to digest.

 ''I want to see my baby''She says and starts walking towards his office.

 ''What do you think you are doing''My boss's voice says and everybody instantly freeze in their spots.

 I turn around to look at the man only to see his eyes furious and his hands clenched at the sight while glaring at janeth.

 ''Why is there so much noise here''He asks again,his eyes looking round the place for answer and everybody remains silent.

 ''Baby''Janeth calls out shamelessly and saunters in his direction only to be stopped by a raised hand.

 ''Listen here pamela I-''My boss starts saying and instantly the woman's face twists in anger at being called the wrong name but she tries to still smile.

 ''It's janeth''She reminds him and my boss just huffs before placing his hands in the pocket of his suit pants.

 ''I don't care now get off my property''Adonis orders and I wait for miss celebrity to walk out only for her to turn out to be extremely shameless.

 ''But why,we had so much fun last time just one ch-"She starts saying desprately and Adonis suddenly moves closer to her vody his hands still in his pocket.

 ''Listen here jane or whatever you call yourself.I jave fun with a lot of women and nothing makes you special''He tells her before turning to walk away.

 I almost turn to ask the woman if she has no self respect at all.

 Angered at his words I even felt the urge to his head.

 ''Make sure she is gone Aria''He says and continues walking tawards his office without turning for once.

 I hated women with no self respected who even after being insulted and humiliated would still go back to that same person.

 ''Please leave Miss jones''I tell her kindly my tone polite and Miss lover woman glares at me.

 ''How dare you''She grits out and from how the vein seems to want to pop out I can tell she's still angry.

 'Yes I dare'I reply internally but just keep a straight face while starring at her.

 ''What are you huh,just a little personal assistant''She says her voice proud like she has just accomplish something and annoyance instantly bubbles in me.

''What are you huh,just some small attention seeking whore''I tell her matchig her stare my eyes potraying a mocking glare.

 Her face instantly turns livid and she raises her hand probably to slap me.

 Halfway I use my hand to hold her raised hand and twist it behind her back.

She lets out a scream and struggles to escape my hold which only tightens.

 ''Now listen carefully miss jones,the next time you try that stunt,I'll make sure to remove your hand.Now why don't you save yourself a little self respect and get out''I tell her and push her body away from mine. 

 I look at her face only to see her face pale with fear and it makes me roll my eyes.

 I am already irritated that she lacks the basic self respect every woman should.
