A few hours later...

While sitting alone in his car on a busy street corner, Mr. Maxwell listened intently as the female detective on the phone relayed the details of her conversation with Ms. Tasha's mother to a friend who had called her earlier; after listening patiently to the entire phone conversation, he thanked the caller, hung up his cell phone, and drove away as soon as possible. However, when he spotted two black cars parked on either side of his vehicle while driving away, he quickly slowed down and stopped the car in order to check his rearview mirror; then, he saw two men step out onto each sidewalk in front of him before quickly approaching the driver's side of his vehicle while yelling, "freeze!"
