Like father, like son.
When Vivian returned home, she encountered her father, who was red with anger. She was aware of how bad her father's temper was. She shivered in fear.
"Where have you been?" Oscar snarled. The rage that had been building inside him erupted when he saw her enter the house.
Vivian tried hard to keep her cool. "I was with my friends."
She lied because she couldn't tell him that she had been with Eddie. However, she suspected that he had found out everything based on his enraged look.
"Friends? When did you start telling lies to me?" Oscar growled.
He had already found out that Vivian had been hanging out with Eddie. He had remained silent because he believed it was part of her plan. But he lost his cool when she ignored his request to return home early.
Vivian flinched at his loud voice. The chills crept up her arms.
Oscar eventually discovered where she was and who she was with.
She couldn't say anything.
