Chapter 67

It was a rainy evening. Jerry was in the sitting room watching the news while Catherine was in the kitchen making coffee for Jerry and herself.

Catherine had noticed the gloomy face of Jerry since he arrived at work.

She kept on wondering where Jerry had gone, which made him come to the company around eleven a.m., and in addition to that, he still came back with a gloomy face.

She had wanted to ask Jerry if there was any problem, but the opportunity never presented itself.

As she was making the coffee, the thought came back to her mind, and without hesitating, she took the two cups of coffee and started heading to the sitting room.

When she came to the sitting room, she handed the first cup of coffee to Jerry before sitting down beside him.

"Thank you so much, babe," Jerry said to her before sipping the hot coffee.
