Clyde's POV

After Kate and I talked outside her apartment I secretly followed her. She did not know that I had secretly followed her, not because I did not trust her but because I was worried about her condition because she seemed uncomfortable while talking to me earlier. I have no idea where she is going now and who she is going to be. I just followed the taxi she rode in. After a few minutes, the taxi that Kate was riding eventually stopped. I saw Kate get out of the taxi and it seemed like she was nervous walking towards that place. I waited for her to walk away first and when I was sure that she would not notice me I got out of the car as well.

I was shocked to see the place that Kate went to. I couldn't believe what I saw. I know Kate didn't tell me anything about her family, not because I didn't want to meet her parents but because I was waiting for her to tell me about her family but I didn't expect that here in this place I would meet her mother. I saw her standing on a grave while crying. I wanted to approach her and hug her at those times, but I restrained myself because I wanted her to have time to talk to her mom first. I can feel the pain she feels at those times. I could see her whole body trembling because of the pain and anger she felt. For a few minutes she was silent and she just stared at her mother's grave while crying. She tried to hold back the tears in her eyes, but it only got worse. And at that time I was no longer prevented from approaching her.

I immediately grabbed her arm and hugged her tightly. She seemed surprised at what I did so she suddenly raised her head to see who was hugging her. When she saw me I suddenly felt the pain she was feeling at that moment. I wiped the tears dripping from her eyes and I tried to smile for her to make her feel better.

The two of us talked for a few minutes at her mother's grave and she explained what had happened and why her mom had died. She also explained to me that she was raised by her aunt and that she had not known her father since she was born.

"Kate, do you want to see or even get to know your real father? I have many connections and maybe we can find your real father, " I told her.

"What if he doesn't want to see me… what if…he's happy now with his family… I don't want to mess up with whatever life he has now."

"Kate, you won't mess up his life. He's your dad, you have the right to know him and he also has the right to know you. You know, maybe he knows he has a child with your mom and he's been looking for you for a long time already. Let's try to find him, Kate. Maybe it's the right time for you to get to know him and he will get to know you too. "
