DAY 23 CONTINUES

Patrick sat in his jet. Behind him, he can hear people whispering and the sound of papers being shuffled. Susan was talking with Mr. Rowan and Mr. Theodore.

He got to his feet, went into his area, and sat down to stare into nothing. Before they arrived in Japan, he needed to sleep. If they don't get some rest immediately, the jet-lag will get to them.

Susan softly tapped on the door, and she entered.

Patrick had his messaging chair leaning on him. Grinning, she moved to take a seat across from him.

"I hope I'm not bothering you," she inquired.

She grinned, and he said, "Even if you are, can I send you away when you are here already?" "What are you still doing? You need to rest."

She held up a black folder and said, "I will. There is this document you have to read and survey. The team had come up with it."

Patrick let out a sigh. "When do I have to do that?"
