AM I THAT BAD?
Richmond arrived at the office to see Anne's seat empty, "she will come right?" He asked no one but himself, he couldn't help but feel panicked.
He wanted to call her but he controlled himself, he was going to give her time to sort herself but it was only for today.
Richmond, despite his efforts to focus on work, found his mind continually drifting back to Anne's absence. The clock ticked away, each passing minute amplifying his concern. "Maybe she's just running late," he reassured himself, though doubt lingered in his voice.
Unable to resist the urge any longer, he picked up his phone, hesitating before dialing Anne's number. The call went straight to voicemail, making him more worried for her well-being.
"She has to be fine," he muttered, trying to dispel the growing anxiety within him.
Forced to confront the reality of the situation, Richmond decided to visit Anne's desk, hoping to see her but she was absent from the desk.
