Trapped in Rashad’s Cruelty

(Kelly's POV)

I was panting heavily, my breaths coming out in ragged gasps. The cold water splashed against my skin, making me shiver. I could hear the laughter of the Purple Gangsters as they continued to douse me with water.

"Enjoying the shower, sweetheart?" one of them sneered. I glared at him, but didn't respond.

My eyes flickered to Rashad, who was sitting across from me. His leg was wrapped in a large bandage, but it was already soaked with blood. He was trying to hide his pain, but I could see the grimace on his face.

"Rashad," I gasped out, my voice barely audible over the sound of my own heavy breathing.

He looked at me, his eyes filled with no concern. "So you had the guts to run away from me," "Where do you think you can run to?" Rashad's voice was cold, his eyes hard. I flinched at his tone, but forced myself to meet his gaze.

"I... I..." I stammered, but before I could finish my sentence, a bucket of water was dumped over my head. The cold water took my breath away, and I sputtered, trying to clear the water from my eyes.

Laughter echoed around me as I wiped the water from my face. I could see the Purple Gangsters grinning, clearly enjoying my discomfort.

"Shut up," Rashad snapped, his gaze never leaving mine. "You're not going anywhere."

I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew I had to think fast. We were outnumbered and outgunned.

"I hear you now have a new guy, cheap girl," Rashad sneered, his words cutting through me like a knife. I tried to respond, but another bucket of water was dumped over my head, silencing me.

"You live in this big beautiful mansion, eat good food, and you get robust," he continued, his voice dripping with contempt. "But you still think of running away from me, right?"

I could only cough and splutter as the water soaked me, my heart pounding in my chest. I wanted to deny his accusations, to tell him he was wrong. But the words wouldn't come out. All I could do was stare at him, my eyes stinging from the water and the harsh reality of his words.

Rashad laughed, a cruel, cold sound that echoed around the room. "You're not going anywhere," he said, his gaze never leaving mine. "You're mine, and you always will be."

His words hung in the air, a chilling reminder of the danger we were in. I knew then that escaping wouldn't be easy.

As if the cold water wasn't enough, they grabbed my head, forcing my mouth open. I choked as water was poured down my throat, my body convulsing in a desperate attempt to breathe.

"Stop!" I managed to gasp out, but my plea fell on deaf ears. The laughter only grew louder, the sound grating against my ears.

I couldn't help but think back to just a few days ago when Rashad had saved me from a similar fate. He had been my hero, my savior. But now, he was the one inflicting this pain on me.

"Why?" I whispered, the word barely audible over the sound of my own choking. But it was a question that echoed in my mind, growing louder with each passing second. Why was this happening? Why was Rashad doing this to me?

But there were no answers. Only the cold laughter of the Purple Gangsters and the chilling words of Rashad. "You're mine, and you always will be."

His words were a stark reminder of the reality I was facing. I was trapped, with no way out.

Rashad signaled to his men, his cold eyes never leaving mine. "Take her," he ordered, his voice as cold as his gaze.

Two of the Purple Gangsters stepped forward, their hands reaching out for me. I tried to pull away, but they were too strong. Their grip was like iron, unyielding and cold.

"No!" I cried out, but my voice was drowned out by their laughter. They dragged me away, my feet scraping against the floor. I looked back at Rashad, his face emotionless as he watched me being taken away.

"Why, Rashad?" I managed to choke out, my voice barely a whisper. But he didn't respond. He just watched as I was dragged out of the room, his cold eyes never leaving mine.

I had thought Rashad's stare was one of pity, but I was wrong. It was a state of cruelty, a chilling reminder of the man he had become. He didn't ask how I was feeling, didn't show any sign of concern. Instead, he ordered a large piece of fresh meat and began to eat, his eyes never leaving mine.

"Enjoying your meal, Rashad?" I spat out, my voice filled with bitterness.

He simply shrugged, a cruel smile playing on his lips. "Why, yes. I am," he replied, his voice cold.

I felt a surge of anger. How could he sit there and eat while I was suffering? But I knew better than to let my emotions get the best of me. I had to stay calm and think clearly.

"You think this will resolve your racing heart, Rashad?" I asked, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside me.

He paused, his fork halfway to his mouth. For a moment, he looked taken aback. But then he laughed, a cold, harsh sound that echoed around the room. "You really don't get it, do you?" he said, his voice dripping with contempt. "This isn't about my heart. It's about power. And right now, I have all the power."

His words were a stark reminder of the reality I was facing. I was trapped, with no way out. But I also knew that I couldn't give up. I had to keep fighting, no matter what. For my sake, and for the sake of everyone else trapped in this nightmare with me. I had to find a way out. I had to survive.
