Ru's rage was a storm within him. He punched the ground, his knuckles turning white. His eyes blazed, and a quivering bellow escaped his lips. "You will pay for this!"
The colossal demon, though still at a distance, seemed to sense his fury. Its eyes, like erupting volcanoes, fixed on Ru. "Misha missed you, Padre," it said, its voice dripping with sadness.
The name pierced Ru's heart like a dagger. "Misha?" he whispered, his voice barely audible.
"Misha missed you," the demon repeated, its tone innocent. "Why don't you come home?"
The colossal demon's words echoed in Ru's mind, a haunting melody of loss and longing.
"Misha..."
"Misha missed me."
The words echoed in Ru's mind, a haunting melody of loss and longing. "I can't go home anymore," a voice within him replied, his heart pounding so violently that he groaned in pain.
Ru insisted on dealing with the pain. "This cannot happen. I'm not Almighty Ru." He shouted, "Stop it, Seneca!"
All the demons turned to face him at the same time. As the ground shook violently, howls and flames said the same thing as them: "Who dares to command our king?"
The only word that came out of Ru's mouth were: "Fuck!"
As he took a few steps back, two powerful hands grabbed him around the waist, halting him in his tracks.
Ru struggled, his screams echoing through the chaos. "What do you think you're doing? Let me go!"
"Calm down, young blood," a familiar but muffled voice said.
The cat lips of the plastic mask touched Ru's ear. From head to toe, Ru was terrified.
"Va-vampire?"
"Correction, Painter Jasper."
"Let go of me, you psycho!"
Ru struggled against Jasper's grip, his muscles straining. Frustration boiled within him, fueling a desperate plan. With a surge of adrenaline, Ru lifted his legs into the air, attempting a powerful press reminiscent of American wrestling techniques. He aimed to use his weight to knock Jasper backward.
A guttural "Arghhhhh" escaped his lips as he exerted every ounce of strength. But it was futile. Ru didn't even have the strength to move Jasper, let alone grab and throw him. The man was much heavier than he appeared.
"What do you weigh, a hundred kilograms," Ru asked but got no answer.
Meanwhile, the colossal demon continued to gallop forward, crushing everything in its path. Its tail split the air. The sparks it rained down caused small fires. Its minions were surfing the waves of flame, swarming toward Ru who disrespected their king.
Ru stomped and cursed, but Jasper wouldn't let him go. Then Amunet appeared and walked past them. A faint mist drifted from the hem of her floor-length leather cloak as she moved aesthetically on her heels.
Amunet took a deep breath and opened her dark blue eyes wide. Before she stood the dark presence of a demon of gigantic size, her hands were trembling, and magical whispers were on her lips.
"Yrathana solendur."
As Amunet was covered in a magical purple mist her features blurred and her body took on a ghostly appearance.
"Jasper, take Ru away and I'll handle everything else," she said firmly.
"Va bene," Jasper replied, picking up Ru, his grip tight and unrelenting.
"Let go of me, you bastard! What does that mean, va bene?" Ru demanded, his voice filled with fear and anger.
"Italian, alright," Jasper replied, his tone cold. With a sudden burst of speed, he shot into the air like an arrow, disappearing into the darkness.
Jasper's ascent was so rapid that Ru was left breathless. The cool night air rushed past him as Jasper's movements defied the laws of gravity. He swallowed hard, a mix of excitement and fear churning in his throat.
In the blink of an eye, Jasper soared through the air, passing effortlessly through the front of an apartment building. Clinging to him as if on a roller coaster, Ru could only marvel at the supernatural speed and grace of the vampire.
But the night was holding more than just the thrill of flight. Chaos reigned below.
The colossal demon roared as it raced through the city, its massive form towering over the buildings like a nightmare come to life. Flames erupted from its tail, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The ground shook with each thundering step of its four hooves, crushing everything in its path. Cars and buildings were reduced to rubble, and people fled in terror as the apocalypse unfolded before their eyes.
Caught between the adrenaline of flight and the horror below, Ru couldn't help but marvel at the surreal scene. The city seemed to crumble under the demon's presence. The air was thick with the smell of smoke and the distant wail of sirens.
"Padre," the demon said over and over, its voice like thunder, drowning out even the sirens.
Jasper, seemingly unfazed by the unfolding chaos, continued to maneuver through the air. He leaped between buildings with agile grace, soared over the tops of skyscrapers, and even defied gravity by walking on the vertical surfaces of structures.
Through all the commotion, Ru heard Amunet's voice, howling in the wind, echoing through the wide streets.
"Kyrrathor undolena."
The stars that appeared in the sky moved toward the purple clouds with Amunet at the center and lowered their light there, forming a pyramid shape.
Amunet breathed heavily. Suddenly, she opened her mouth and shouted the magical word "Zythramorph".
"Zythramorph! Zythramorph!"
Finally, the word became a never-ending scream. Amunet's jaw snapped, and hundreds of scarabs spewed from her torn mouth.
The scene was terrifying. People caught between the demon and the sorceress, watching the stars grow in the sky, panicked. Cars crashed into each other, and sirens screamed endlessly.
As Amunet raised her hand to the sky, the stars responded to her command. The scarabs, whose countless numbers resembled a sea of black, began to move in unison, forming a magnificent structure known as the 'Dark Pyramid'.
The Dark Pyramid in construction was fully alive, there was incessant movement in every part of the structure. Amunet's voice echoed once more.
"Zyrramitha noveris!"
A ghostly hand rose from the top of the dark pyramid. In the center of the hand appeared the 'Eye of Amunet'. It was filled with dark blues.
The eye first looked up at the stars. It glowed with the light it absorbed from them. When it reached a blinding brightness, it looked at the demon and sent the light it had gathered at the demon.
The starlight hit the demon. This powerful attack created a sharp brightness all around.
People were blinded, perhaps even harmed. Amunet, like the demon, did not care about them.
Now, it was the demon's turn. It forcefully uprooted two lampposts and hurled them. In addition to that, it sprinted and leaped like a thoroughbred, prepared to conquer the tallest obstacle in the steeplechase. Upon landing, it balanced on two legs, pivoted, and struck the pyramid with its hoof, sending millions of scarabs into the air. Unsatisfied, it seared them with its tail.
Amunet struggled to keep the crumbling pyramid standing. Her body was dying fast, her soul trembling. But instead of protection, she recited an attack spell.
"Zyrramitha novenar!"
In the eye above the pyramid, a 'nightmare ball' black as pitch, solid as tar, and oily as oil formed and shot toward the demon. Infinite division and infinite reunion were the timeless logic of working the nightmare ball's principles. When it hit the demon's face, it disintegrated, smeared its torso, and flowed toward its feet.
The demon was quickly covered from head to toe in a black goo of unknown origin that smelled like burnt plastic, while the ground beneath it was also contaminated. The uncertainty flowing from the nightmare fluid coated and transformed the broken asphalt. The ground turned into a growing black hole. Bigger than a demon, this mouth-shaped thing with hundreds of double rows of teeth was a 'Truth Eater'.
The Truth Eater closed its mouth so tightly to nibble on the four legs of its ashen main course that the resulting clatter caused an earthquake in the city.
BARROOOMM!
The demon screamed in pain: "Padre! Don't do this! Don't punish us anymore! Please, Father! Misha is crying..."
Ru's heart reacted to these words. It was as if he was stabbed right in the middle.
"What... What is this," Ru asked, unable to make sense of the pain he felt in his chest. He couldn't stop the tears from falling from his eyes.
