The frown on her head did not leave. Leah continued to nibble on the croissant that she was holding in her arms, or at least attempted to do that while being aware of the star of her father.
Today, she had been the first one to come to the dining room, and her father had joined her a few minutes later. Nothing was out of the ordinary, except for the fact that he kept on staring at her like she had done something. Then again, what had she done?
First few minutes of it, she continued to think about what could have been the reason for all of this. What had she done? Then she came up with nothing and just ignored the stare.
What was up with him anyway?
Was there anything on the side of her face?
She touched the side of her face a little, brushing the entire thing with her hand. Huh, nothing was on her cheek.
Then why was she looking at her?
"Are you okay?" She said slowly, watching him from the corner of her eyes.
"Yes."
