Sniffles were left inside apart from the occasional one or two sobs that followed the sniffles again.
"Water?" Lucy asked softly, and we took a moment before answering her with a nod of her head.
"Can you warm it up?" Her voice was quite raspy, signing the need for what she had asked for.
"Absolutely." She went away and tangled away from Leah. Lucy put on the kettle and once the water warmed up, poured into a glass and placed it in front of Leah.
Then, she proceeded to let it turn hot before taking 2 tea cups.
While she said that, Leah just focused on drinking the water as if it was the utmost important task in front of her.
Sure, it soothed her throat but her mind? Not at all. Not a bit.
