Valkyries?

"Professor Lee, what do you think about Valkyries?"

"Generally I think they're strong and powerful, perhaps even three of me wouldn't be able to match one valkyrie but that's only in theory"

"Then I'm guessing you a have actually seen one do battle?"

"Once, it was during when I was working for the Alliance, there was a battle at the East Gate, they just swooped in and decimated at least five legions before they dipped"

Eun-woo nodded and expected them to be this strong as he was the one who made them that way but he was intrigued at the same time how there was such a character in this school, he didn't even wrote about this character but in the end he always knew that some things would change and accepted it gladly.

"Are they old?"

"They look like they're at their prime but they usually are around two hundred to eight hundred years old, those who have lived longer are relegated to be instructors and those who are younger are still in training."

"I'm just wondering how they're born"

"Frankly speaking I don't know either, from what I've heard they're born from an egg in their realm or some lucky guy gets to screw them and they're conceived naturally who knows, why are you asking me this?"

"Research"

"Research my ass you're not planning to go their realm are you?"

Lee Hyori sighed and signed the papers Eun-woo had brought in, she then stood up and stretched her body.

"You know everyone is curious when the actual lectures begin"

"Does the class still need lectures? What good does it for you guys to memorize all those gibberish and then die because of a situation not discussed? Being on the field is different from being in school."

"I know, but doesn't knowing the principles at least matter?"

"Eh I can't argue with that but most of the time it's always gonna be a flight of fight response until you get more experience."

Eun-woo just nodded as Lee Hyori as he took the papers.

"Next week, Ji-hyun may have already told you what we had planned, if you can complete your team next week It would be best but I won't pressure you as there's already four of you and that's already enough"

"I maybe getting my fifth member now, but I won't tell you until after I'm sure, I think I need help in screening the two auxiliary members too"

"All right just give me the files you've received and I'll help you other than that I'll also keep an eye out on some unique students"

"Thank you professor Lee, and Noona is already outside"

Eun-woo opened the door showing Ji-Hyun with eyeglasses as she walked in as if she also owned Lee Hyori's office.

"It's only been what three of four days? I'll be staying in your dorm room later I want to meet Sowon, now go back to your classroom I'm going to talk with Hyori"

Park Ji-hyun pushed Eun-woo outside the office with all her strength and eventually pushed him out leaving her and Hyori alone, she then took out stacks of papers from her spatial ring.

"Now where were we?"

It was already noon time as Eun-woo left Lee Hyori's office, the morning was just filled with Lee Hyori telling students to optimize their skill sets with their team soon as she would do a team battle simulation soon as she had noticed most of the class had already formed cliques and teams which she was expecting even if it was only a day after she announced it.

"You're here, I thought You'd disappoint me"

"Actually you're more disappointing, to actually get caught by Ono Hayami how bad can you be?"

Eun-woo told the girl in front of her as they were at the rooftop, the girl had flinched after hearing what Eun-woo had told her, he noticed that She had an especially tall slender build and a head full of luminous long, gold-colored hair, she was beautiful not to say the least but Eun-woo wondered how much strength did she had hiding behind her slender build as she was more suited to be a model.

The girl then conjured a spear and thrusted directly at Eun-woo aiming for his chest.

"Not only are you disappointing you're also rude."

Eun-woo yawned and placed his hands on his pockets he then lightly tapped the ground with his feet, a wall of ice appeared in between them but the girl broke through it easily, Eun-woo stepped back to dodge the incoming spear.

"Is this the power of the so called number one of the first years?"

Eun-woo just yawned again and looked at the girl.

"My clothes are tailored made and it costs around a total of ten thousand utopia coins, I don't want you to get into debt because of me"

The girl kept lunging forward as Eun-woo just kept dodging the attacks for awhile, he then caught the spear in his hand as he looked the girl straight in the eyes.

"You're good but not great, let's see how well you defend."

Eun-woo then froze the spear forcing the girl to remove her hands, the girl then stepped back and conjured a round shield and sword.

"Give me back my spear! I still haven't paid for that!"

Eun-woo didn't listen and instead released the spear from Ice and then infused it with lightning, he then raised the spear and soon the clouds turned black and lightning came forth.

"What are you gonna do about it? Cry?"

Eun-woo then slashed towards the ground as the girl was struck by lightning, wherever the girl went Eun-woo would direct lightning, although it was a basic spell but the fact that he could regenerate mana faster than he could consume he increased the mana he put forth into casting the spell.

"Fight me like a man!"

The girl was annoyed as she had to keep dodging and blocking the lightning strikes, she was even more annoyed as she noticed that Eun-woo had held back and seemed to be experimenting on her as she noticed that every strike she blocked the next one would be stronger than the last.

"You're better at this than expected, how long can you last though"

The girl roared as she had enough and instead of dodging the lightning strike she ran through and slashed at Eun-woo.

Eun-woo just moved to the side and made her trip.

"At least do better."

The girl looked at the ground and stood up she then stared at Eun-woo, she breathed deep and shortly after she had radiated a gold aura and her eyes had turned golden, she also had manifested a silhouette of a pair of wings, the girl had stood up and looked at Eun-woo with anger.

As Eun-woo was about to say something he soon felt something hit his stomach but he wasn't blown back by the girl's punch but he was only moved a few meters, as Eun-woo looked at her she immediately arrived and fist was aiming for his head already.

Eun-woo dodged the oncoming fist and coated his feet with dark cosmic energy and kicked the abdomen of the girl, the girl was sent flying after getting kicked, but not a second late the bruise on her abdomen was visibly returning to its original state as Eun-woo had seen that it was black and bruised after he had kicked her.

The girl had roared and conjured her shield and sword again, she immediately lunged towards Eun-woo again, just as she was about to slash down Murasame had appeared in Eun-woo's hands and parried the sword, he then grabbed the girl's sword hand as he coated his hand with dark cosmic energy.

The girl was forced to release the sword as she felt that her hand would break as she knew she only had little time left before her skill would end, as soon as she released the sword she soon felt a stinging sensation on her abdomen and was blown back once again.

Eun-woo looked at the state at the girl as she was embedded onto the wall, he took a deep breath and dusted off his uniform, he then looked at the sword on the ground it dissipated into a smoke of gold, he then returned his sight to the girl who had returned to the normal as the golden aura was no more.

The girl fell onto the ground unconscious, Eun-woo looked around to see the damage they had done, he knew there weren't any cameras around as even the school knew that there would be fights between students and it was an unwritten rule to use the rooftop to settle disputes if they choose not to use the arena or simulations battles.

Shortly after a professor had appeared and checked on the girl, he then looked at Eun-woo then nodded.

"The grudge ends here between you two, both of you are now banned to fight each other here, if I catch you two here I will personally send a letter to expel both of you, use the arena or simulations next time."

The teacher then left, his job here was only to monitor the students that would use the rooftop as a battle ground as there were no rules or referee and that it would inflict actual pain compared to the arena and simulation which were proctored and virtual.

"Professor Choi Jin-hyuk"

He was once the top ranked hero but retired due to unforeseen circumstances he had decided to do this job instead, of course Eun-woo knew his mana circuits were wrecked and were now only thirty percent functioning and that he would only intervene if one of the other was near death or the other was actively trying to kill.

Eun-woo looked at the girl in front of him then decided to call Ling Shu.

"Eun-woo? Do you need help or anything?"

"Can you come to the rooftop?"

"Which Building?"

"The first years"

"All right, Should I bring Sowon?"

"Yeah, tell her to prepare recovery magic"

"Why are you okay?"

"I am but ugh, just come here"

Eun-woo hanged up the phone and went to the girl who was unconscious, he then poked her to see if she was faking it, after a few minutes of poking her unconscious body.

"Eun-woo!"

Eun-woo turned around to see Ling Shu who ran towards him and Sowon who had brought out her staff.

[ Rejuvenate! ]

Sowon immediately casted the spell she had prepared and the bruises and injuries the girl had sustained were now healed.

"Can you carry her to the infirmary?"

"Eh? Did you just call me to carry her?"

"You know how rumours run wild, besides look at her"

Eun-woo pointed at Sowon as he was talking to Ling Shu, both of them could see that Sowon was also poking or rather beating the girl's body with her staff and rejuvenate her shortly after to check if she was pretending to be unconscious.

"All right but you owe me a hundred utopia coins"

Ling Shu walked towards the girl and was about to carry her but the girl immediately sat up straight.

"I'm fine now please stop poking me anymore!"

Sowon nodded and went to Eun-woo side, Ling Shu shrugged her shoulder and also followed after Sowon, the girl then dusted off her clothes she then was startled as Eun-woo threw her the spear she owned.

The girl looked at the spear and hugged it tightly then looked at Eun-woo, she then sized up Ling Shu and as soon as she stared at Sowon who was raising her staff.

"Please don't hit me!"

"Care to introduce yourself?"

Eun-woo asked her as she stepped back a bit creating distance between them.

"My name is Katherine Bianchi, my korean name is Jung Yu-na"

"Are you two related?"

Ling Shu asked Sowon as she shook her head.

"I wish"

"I won't ask personal matters for now but what do you want us to call you?"

"Any of the two is fine, I'm used to either thanks to my family."

"Then Yu-na it is"

"Did I pass?"

Sowon and Ling Shu then looked at Eun-woo then at the surroundings, they were so busy looking at Yu-na earlier that they didn't notice the environment.

Eun-woo then threw Yu-na a badge.

"Sure, come to my dorm unit later, the guards will let you in the premises if you show them this, let's go"

Eun-woo left along with Ling Shu and Sowon.

"Bye bye! See you later Yu-na!"

Sowon just nodded and followed after Eun-woo.

Yu-na sighed and slumped to the ground as she was a bit weak even after she was rejuvenated, she then looked at the spear as she thought it was undamaged.

"Ah at least it's sti-"

The spear had suddenly broken into two causing her to bawl.

"My debt"
