"That was boring"

Eun-woo muttered as he looked around the gymnasium, it was filled to the brim with over a thousand first years, he didn't even glance who he was currently seating with as they too didn't start a conversation with them as he felt it wasn't necessary.

Once the activities and speeches were done, he immediately stood up, he took the attention as he left first while closing his eyes, some of the professors who were briefed by Hyori looked at him in interest, while some took it as an offense as they didn't know who this student was and why he was acting this way.

Even some of the student council who haven't begun their instructions to leave were somewhat dissatisfied as they thought he was a delinquent, some of the students also followed suit after Eun-woo left but some were still waiting for the instructions of the student council.

As Eun-woo was leaving he received a text on his phone with only a 'thumbs up' icon, he knew it was Hyori, judging by this he knew what sort of relationship they had now, but it didn't matter for him, he immediately went back to the battle grounds as he knew today was also the day where they tested everyone's potential and he of course had no plans to hide who he was, he thought that the more he shined brightly the less chances of the protagonist and important characters would want to associate with him rather than the opposite of lying low.

Eun-woo immediately stood at the side, he noticed that some were following after him, he took a glance to see who they were, he raised his eyebrows but then shook his head, shortly after he felt that lots of people were already gathering.

-

After a short while every first year had arrived including the professors and some of the senior classmen, everyone was curious who was the strongest and who they had to watch out for in the rankings.

Luxuria Academy, like most academies in the current Utopia, had rankings of its students, they made it so everyone would strive to be better and gave out incentives to people who had worked hard and aimed for the top, with this it brought out the competitiveness of its students, it wasn't a perfect plan as there were some cons to it but it did bring out the results they wanted.

As everyone was getting acquainted soon a beautiful professor appeared on top of the holographic jumbotron and was loud enough to be heard by everybody, she was beautiful in their eyes as she looked like a model, but to Eun-woo he just chuckled as he knew who she was, when he looked at her, he felt that their eyes had met and that she was smiling for a reason, he sighed as he knew what would happen next.

"I know everyone, including the upperclassmen, professors and the new students are eager to know who will rank at the top and what class will they land, so I won't make this go any longer, your name will be on the top when it is your turn, there are a total of thirty platforms as each test would only take around a minute or so, may you get the rank that you so desire"

As soon as Lee Hyori had finished her speech names were already rolling, and the name that was first to be called on the first platform where she was, was none other than Eun-woo's

"Student Park Eun-woo, please raise your hand and come to the stage"

Eun-woo nodded and soon raised his hand following Lee Hyori's instructions, everyone looked at him curiously and everyone was surprised that it had been the one who left earlier was also the first one that was called, subconsciously some thought that he had been targeted and some thought it was well deserved.

Eun-woo didn't mind and continued going to the platform, as soon as he arrived he told Lee Hyori.

"You're not purposefully putting a target on my back right Professor Hyo?"

"Of course not you already gave one yourself, I just made it bigger, Oh by the way I asked your sister to give me your number, give me a good show all right student Eun-woo? I made a bet"

"I will, but I have a favor"

Hyori raised her eyebrow, as soon as she heard his request she immediately accepted it and took her mic and gestured to turn it on.

"All right now that student Park Eun-woo is here, I'll make sure that the test is fair and just by letting you all know what my talent rank is"

Hyori then placed her hand on the dull gray ball, soon she exerted her mana on it and it changed colors from gray to different colors, indicating that she had high power, the balls color then stopped at the color gold.

"That is my talent rank, Gold signifies my talent potential is at [S] though there are some instances some people have reached a higher color than this I won't explain further since all of you know, if you have black, which is the lowest don't be afraid we won't kick you out, well not yet, but that's another topic for another time, I'm just here to prove that this thing works and was recently given to us by the angels so if anyone disputes the results you guys better have the balls to dispute Heaven's artifacts."

Everyone nodded at Hyori's word and didn't doubt whatever would happen at her platform since she herself had verified it, soon she looked at Eun-woo and nodded.

Eun-woo then placed his hands after Hyori had said her piece, everyone was now looking at Eun-woo, soon the hall became quiet.

"Am I free to go to the next test area now?"

Hyori smirked and nodded, and then looked at the Dean of the first years with a smile on her face.

Everyone gave way too Eun-woo as he left the arena, everyone's eyes were now on him again as he left the stage, he had achieved his goal of standing out, so no one would dare approach him anymore except for some people who were brave enough.

"Wait Park Eun-woo? Isn't he?"

Some people then realized who Eun-woo was and which made them fear his talents and background as they swore not to provoke this ominous entity.

-

The practical assessment test was a closed and private one where all first year and some willing professors would watch each student demonstrate their talent and skills in a closed environment, as the academy respected each student's privacy and strength unless they themselves want to showcase it and as such.

"So Park Eun-woo decided to publicly showcase his talent? Hyori, did you have any hand in this?"

"Are you also interested in him? Kim Jeong-Hoon?"

"No, It's unusual to publicly show your talent this early, I'm just wondering what he's thinking."

"Well I just told him to give me a good show."

As soon as Hyori had finished her sentence the people in the assessment room heard lightning cackling on the area Eun-woo was.

-

A few minutes prior, Eun-woo was deciding what he would showcase, he thought the sword would be overused and that Dark Star Matter was too boring to watch to make others fear him for now as he didn't master it quite yet.

Thus Eun-woo was in the middle and made up a spell on the spot, with spear in his hand, he remembered a move he had prepared in his past life, one that he wanted to try and imitate.

Eun-woo's leg's was suddenly covered in lightning, he didn't know why or how it worked he simply thought of it, he felt strange, he felt explosive yet light, as lightning surged and surrounded his legs, his spear that he had taken from the table was now showing signs of being surrounded by lightning.

He formed a smile then everyone heard a boom.

Eun-woo suddenly arrived behind a target dummy, well the one that was supposed to be there, was now up in smoke as the only thing that was left was its stand.

Eun-woo then threw the spear towards another target, as soon as his spear hit it, both his spear and the target blew up.

Without needing to say anything he looked up at the professors box, bowed and left.

-

"This brat"

Hyori laughed which made the other professors look at her in bewilderment.

"Professor Lee?"

"It's nothing Professor James, I think I now owe a brat a favor, my head is hurting now on what I should compensate him"

James just nodded and didn't ask that much after seeing Hyori act like this.

"Say Professor Lee"

"What it is it Professor Kim? You interested now?"

"No, no it's nothing like that, I want to confirm something, is he of the Park lineage I'm thinking off?"

"The lineage where the Young Mistress whose also known as Midas? And the one where the Eldest is known as Stone?"

Kim Jeong-Hoon nodded, everyone knew who the Park siblings were, and who their parents were, there were thousands of candidates and tens of people surnamed Park this year, but they knew that one boy would enrol today and made note of him.

"I mean you'd be stupid at this point not to know who he really is based on the previous test, to answer your question, he is from that Park lineage, and if you guys ever have a thought about him well"

Everyone gulped down as they knew each Park sibling would be well guarded and had a shadow to guard them until they graduate from the academy as seen from Park Ji-hyun who had been almost kidnapped dozens of times during her years in the Academy.

"I'll let him do what he wants in my class, not like he needs me to teach anything"

James spoke again as he was the Sword Instructor and a ranked hero but after knowing his background, he couldn't compete in teaching him duels since Eun-woo's mother was at the peak but he decided to at least teach him theoretically instead practically.

"So your going to give him a free pass then?"

Hyori asked James.

"It's not like I can teach better than Madame Song nor can I beat Sir Park in warfare, I can just give him a hand"

"Good for Eun-woo then, has everyone decided already?"

Hyori asked, everyone thought that she was the de-facto leader of the first year professors aside from the dean as they liked her leadership better.

The professors unanimously decided to place him number one, aside from his talent, his background and current prowess had already made it clear that he was not to mess with and that he would be a pillar in the future.

"All right with this I've payed my price for his show."

Hyori then heard the professors stamp Eun-woo's document, she then gathered them and finally she herself stamped his document with a smile on her face.
