Class

A week had passed since Park Eun-woo and Jung Sowon had met, after their engagement was made public they both dominated the headlines, but shortly after they again made it to the top of the search rankings as someone had 'purposefully' leaked their student ranking among the first years.

"That's surprising"

Eun-woo muttered as he remembered Sowon's rank was supposed to be '9' but the leak said her rank was 3.

'Is it because of our engagement?'

Eun-woo then looked at the side to see Sowon also looking at the news on his tablet.

Eun-woo knew their relationship was forced and rushed and wanted to make it up to her somehow, even though she also had a hand in forcing their current relationship he still wanted to improve it.

Using the free week where the academy would sort its students and final sectioning Eun-woo took the stoic beauty on a few dates.

He noticed that the contract they had performed had worked, when they were dating and Park Ji-hyun and Park Seung-ho joined one time to get to know her better she still was still cold and was distant to other people, but on the few dates they were alone he would see that she was a bit more open and would reply more than usual and that he could see she would turn red a bit with a little bit of teasing.

"Young Master, Young Miss, we've arrived"

Hwang Jo-hyun called out to them as he parked in front of the gate.

"Thank you Uncle"

"Your things will be delivered in the dorm room, as well as yours too Young Miss"

"Thank you"

As soon as Sowon had finished her thanks Eun-woo opened the door of the car and went out and waited for her, Eun-woo held the door open for her and when she also got out he closed it and Hwang Jo-hyun immediately drove off to take care of the things he had to do.

Eun-woo then looked around at the gate of the academy, as he was walking towards the entrance he felt a tug on his uniform, he looked at Sowon who looked at the ground shyly, Eun-woo was about to ask her what was wrong but didn't continue as he soon felt Sowon grabbed his hands and held it.

"I like to keep my word you know, and I'm not ashamed of going public either"

Eun-woo just smiled and nodded as both of them were in the same class, both of them attracted envious eyes and some saw it was just as both of them were respectively.

Luxuria Academy's uniform had a white palette with gold linings with each student having their respective blazers and the customary pin, as they walked towards the class they both looked like supermodels but none dare to talk to them, as they entered they sat down next to each other.

Their class was Class 1, the class that boasted the talented batch in Luxuria Academy, none dared to talk to them which was what they wanted, Eun-woo and Sowon had achieved what they wanted and none dared to come near them as they had both excluded an aura that made people hesitant to even start a conversation.

Soon the class was being filled, none had still dared approached them as they were afraid of pissing them off since they know that even though Eun-woo and Sowon won't do anything to them in the academy nor against them, but outside the academy was a different matter with this in mind everyone continued on and treated them like they weren't there.

Eun-woo and Sowon had seated onto a desk and none had dared to take the seat until.

"Hiya! Is this seat taken?"

Eun-woo looked like he was writing something and didn't seem to want to answer her, Sowon looked at the bubbly girl who had asked her the question and she shook her head.

"Nice! Hey My Name is Ling Shu! You can call Me Ling Ling!"

Ling Shu told Sowon with smiles as she took the seat next to her, the class had 20 desks each desk could accommodate 3 students, as soon as people saw Ling Shu approach them they were all instantly curious.

"Take it"

"I don't mind"

Both Sowon and Eun-woon answered to Ling Shu, although they did not want to interact that much unless necessary, they too did not want to be rude for no reason.

"Great! I can take notes from two of the top three students ehe!"

Ling Shu immediately sat down as if the seat was already hers not minding that the both of them didn't bother to introduce themselves to her.

"Say are the two of you really dating!? Have both of you kissed? What stage are you in? Wait have the both of you done it already?"

"Yes, Yes, it's a secret, and not yet"

Eun-woo answered Ling Shu's barrage of questions, Eun-woo knew Ling Shu wouldn't stop until her curiosity was satisfied as she was also one of the heroines.

Ling Shu has a small and delicate figure. She looked very young, with crimson hair, and had a cute and delicate face. Her hair was short only up until her neck It was as red as her eyes.

"Woah! You're very cooperative Eun-woo! Say Sowon is it true?"

Everyone all heard the questions and answers and were mildly interested so they looked at Sowon waiting for confirmation.

Sowon looked at Ling Shu's eyes that were blazing with passion waiting for her answer, she simply nodded her head and looked away.

"Woah!"

"My Goddess!"

"I wish I was reborn as Sowon!"

Almost everyone had some sort of reaction but it was Ling Shu who was the most active.

"Can you give me anymore details like when ar-"

Eun-woo flicked an eraser at her head as to stop her from asking more as he also knew that Sowon would be uncomfortable being asked those type of questions.

Ling Shu understood Eun-woo and bowed apologetically at the both of them as she rubbed her forehead with a mischievous smile.

"Okay that ends my curious questions for today!"

Ling Shu said to them as she took out her notebook and started to arrange the necessary things, soon the class had calmed down again.

Eun-woo noticed that Ling Shu still pestered Sowon, but didn't say anything as Ling Shu had controlled her questions this time.

Both of them didn't know that Ling Shu had already considered them as her friends as they didn't care who she was and even answered her questions directly!

Shortly after they, everyone saw a mature fierce lady walk in brining only a tablet, as soon as everyone saw her they immediately took their seats.

"Good I guess everyone is here? Let me start checking the attendance"

Lee Hyori was the class adviser for Class 1, she wanted to check the attendance earlier than the intended time as to give a chance for latecomers, she noticed that one was missing and Eun-woo knew who it was.

"Last call for Lee Jun-ho"

'3, 2, and 1'

"I'm here!"

Everyone then looked at where Lee Jun-ho was, no one had said a thing yet, he looked around the class and immediately took up the last vacant seat.

Lee Jun-ho, the protagonist who would save the world a decade or so from now, his talent was the same as Eun-woo, he was also a swordsman, he had already gotten his skill books from his deceased parents.

Lee Jun-ho was handsome, and looked like a model that only appeared in posters, but some people subconsciously compared him to Eun-woo, if they were asked who they would pick, they would have a hard time all together.

To Eun-woo now he didn't want to needlessly help him as he knew Jun-ho had to seize his own opportunities, he knew their paths would intersect, he would help when necessary but doing more than that felt like trouble.

'Helping him means I'm also helping myself'

Jun-ho was supposed to be the number one ranked student, but thanks to Eun-woo's appearance he suddenly became ranked two, he scanned the class and his eyes stayed at Eun-woo who was still writing, he didn't know but when he saw him a fire burned inside him, he wanted to beat him.

"I guess everyone is complete, today is your first day at Luxuria academy, I'm sure everyone is itching to either showcase their talent or prove themselves that their rank rightfully belongs to them or that they deserve a higher rank than that was given, since everyone of you had a week to rest I'll assume that everyone is rearing to go, Eun-woo, since you know the way, lead everyone to the the Arena, I've already booked Area 1, I'll catch up since I need to get some files first."

Lee Hyori soon left and everyone eyes again landed on Eun-woo, he then stood up and went ahead of everyone, Sowon and Ling Shu followed him without question, soon Lee Jun-ho also stood up and followed him and like a domino effect everyone followed after him not questioning where he went.

-

Class 1 had arrived at the arena everyone had looked at it with awe as to some of them it was the first time they had seen such advanced equipment and to some especially Eun-woo and Sowon they didn't seem to have any reaction as the two looked bored.

"Hey do you guys also have training equipment like this? how do you use this?"

Ling Shu asked Sowon as he didn't want to disturb the writing Eun-woo and Sowon didn't do anything, Sowon agreed and told her everything she needed to know, from how to use the machines and how to set the difficulty and what kind of battle she wanted, Ling Shu listened in awe as she took Sowon's words to heart as she wanted to be stronger and not be weak.

"Ling Shu what's your Job?"

Sowon straightforwardly asked the bubbly girl who still had stars in her eyes as she looked at the surroundings.

"I'm a brawler! I'm not talented in weaponry but I am sure of beating anyone with my fists!"

Ling Shu answered without question since it was Sowon that was asking, she felt she didn't need to hide anything from her as she felt a sense of familiarity with her already and that was more than enough.

"I see"

Sowon didn't say anything and shortly they heard Eun-woo close his book and place his pen somewhere in his blazer, he then came closer to them.

"This is going to be annoying"

"Why? what's going to happen Eun-woo?"

"Say Ling Ling, how confident are you in protecting Sowon?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"During a fight you must have your own way to deal with ranged attacks as well as skills to fend off numerous people in a fight right? You're a brawler after all, I'm sure you're not lacking in skills that can block ranged attacks and arts that can make you keep up your stamina in fighting"

"Eh? How do you know all about that? Did you stalk me Eun-woo? I am still single, but what about our dear Sowon? won't she get jealous? both of you are still engaged not yet married so I still have a chance!"

Ling Shu tried to tease the two of them but only received a flick on the forehead and a glare from Sowon.

"Anyway, can you do it?"

"I probably can, I don't know how long I'll last"

"Don't worry, Sowon can help you, she may not look like it but her Job is actually a priest"

Ling Shu's eyes widened after Eun-woo told her that and grabbed Sowon's hands

"Sowon, be my partner!"

Eun-woo chopped the head of Ling Shu this time as she let go of Sowon's hands.

"She's my partner, find someone else"

"But but!"

Soon the conversations of people started to die down again as Lee Hyori entered, this time she wasn't alone.
