The Auguste (Indefinite Hiatus)

I didn't have a memory of who I am when I woke up. I don't know why, but I seem to have been able to think like an adult person the moment I was born. I'm smarter than everyone my age, but I think that will quickly change soon. A robotic voice, which is the tutorial bot, said that I was created for many purposes, but above those is the purpose of growing stronger until i am the strongest. I don't know who my creator was, since he's dead, but I will find out on my own. I am Auguste, a clown trying to find his own purpose, not the ones given to him, and this is my story of how I became the god above gods. _____________________ I am not that good of a writer, and quite self conscious also. If you can, please point out my mistakes so that I can fix it for later readers. Anyhow, enjoy the novel!

Chapter 91: Another Win

"OOOH!! LOOK AT THAT! LOOK AT THAT!!!! AUGUSTE JUST WASTED THE ENTIRE ISLAND BY SUMMONING THOUSANDS OF GIGANTIC FIREBALLS!!!!!!" Arsus, the announcer, shouted at the talisman in sheer excitement.

Yule had to cover his ears as he was just right beside the excited fellow.

"We know, so please don't yell, it's hurting my eardrums," He said in irritation, before his face turned bright, as he announced on his talisman, "Anyway, Team Heroes won by a large margin! On my word on the first day of this event, everyone who voted to who my disciple is will get special prizes! And anyone who voted for Auguste will be rewarded, but since I'm feeling a bit generous today, I will be giving out 100 Platinum Notes, cultivation resources, elite-grade weapons, and sustainment resources, all from the sect itself to the people that voted for him! I will be checking the voting book to see who voted."

He checked the book, and was surprised to see only 1 person voting for his disciple. And the person was not even an adult; they were only a child. The highest voted disciple in this voting book was Vinir, which is kind of ironic since he was beaten in one slap by his disciple.

Even though his disciple used magic to win, which he strictly said is for his training, he is still incredibly happy today! Why? Because he had a bet with all the elders earlier from just this month. If his disciple wins, he will get 10,000 Platinum Notes from each of them but if he loses, he will be giving out 100,000 Platinum Notes to each of them. Some of them might've hesitated, but after he announced that, they all somehow had the confidence to bet with him.

Note that he made this bet after telling Auguste that he cannot use his mana during the rank battles, which stressed him out the most. There are 32 elders in the sect, and giving each of them 100,000 Platinum Notes would drain him of 3.2 Million Platinum Notes, which, as you might be able to tell, is not good for his pocket.

So, when he saw Auguste being chased by that brat's, Vinir, spells, he was incredibly anxious. He was praying to every god out there so that his disciple would not lose, but when he saw Auguste stop just as the spells hit him, his heart sank to the very bottom.

You know the feeling when you're standing on a tightrope and you know that once you fall, you will never be able to land? That was what he felt at that moment. He saw the rope being sawed by the elders, grinning very sinister at him. When he started to slowly fall into the deep abyss, he saw something, something that rose him.

His disciple didn't stop just to be hit by those spells, no, he was tired of running away and used his mana to form a barrier in front of him at the last second, blocking every attack that came towards him!

Yule, at the time, was more than joyful; he was practically yelling in madness inside his head.

It was like something incredibly heavy was lifted off of his chest.

At that moment, he promised himself that he would never make a bet with that kind of high risk ever again!

Anyway, he put his mouth near the talisman, and said, "Anyone by the name of 'Helia Farnus', please come to the middle of the stage along with the disciples."

He stood up to greet the child who had the courage to vote for his disciple, and decided that he would award them with something special; something that would shock whoever their parents are.

"I'll be coming down there shortly," He said.

(Scene Change)

The remaining members of the Combat Kings were severely wounded with fourth-degree burns. Their opened and burned flesh were almost showing their bones, which he frowned at and was a bit disappointed at his disciple for damaging them this much. The pain they must be feeling at the moment must be horrendous. But this is not something the sect cannot heal, in fact, they will probably heal in a month or two. They just won't be able to cultivate for a while since their dantians were also damaged along the way. But they won't be losing any cultivation.

His disciple and his team also came out of the dimensional box after he pulled them back here.

But as soon as Auguste came out, he rushed towards the three he severely injured.

"Wait, wait!" He yelled, trying to get the medics to stop for a moment.

But he was blocked by someone; the teammate of the three burned disciples.

This one had short black hair, steeled indigo eyes, and is currently wearing his uniform as a patient of the sect's hospital, which just consisted of a long-sleeved blue dress.

"You," he growled, pointing at his disciple, "did this to them! They're almost dead! I swear that one of these days, I will kill you, patriarch's disciple or not!"

Feeling a bit awkward, his disciple just showed something in his left hand. The teammate of the nearly-dead disciples looked at it, and saw 3 pills.

"So, uh, I felt sorry that I did all of that to them. But these three pills can heal them immediately. They are called Rejuvenation Pills and can only be made by using incredibly rare ingredients," His disciple said, "Look, I don't know if you'll forgive me or not, but give these to your friends if you really want to help them."

"So by giving me these, you want things to just let it be bygones be bygones? I'm not easily coerced into these things, f*cker!" The guy growled, feeling insulted.

"C'mon man, just accept them. I don't care if you forgive me or not, but if you don't give them these pills, they'll die!"

"Don't think we're finished!"

Reluctantly, the older disciple accepted the pills, and went towards where his teammates were. The medics taking his teammates had already been long gone after having that bit of an argument with his disciple.

(Auguste POV)

I felt everyone looking at me, and I turned to look at them, irritated, as I said, "What? Do I have something on my face? Go, go look away, the drama's done now!"

But they still didn't turn away.

"Auguste, they already know that you're my disciple," My master said to me.

My face fell, and only now I realize how things are going to be difficult now.

Note that Auguste did not save those 3 out of the pure kindness of his heart; it was just an obligation. It was him who severely injured them, and he promised Scarlet to never kill another disciple in the Rank Battles.

Anyway, please answer this sincerely; would you guys donate to me through a p*treon if I ever make one?

I've been contemplating whether to create a p*treon or not since I was unsure if any of you would donate to support my work. I know my novel is barely decent, so please be sincere.

It's hard to write any more chapters since it keeps getting hard to write here due to work reason. I could barely write two chapters today.
