Archer and Ash's past story (1)

Beren talked with the lawyer and when he left, Beren came back to the office. He saw Archer sitting on his chair and doing something on the laptop.

He placed the files on his desk and came to see what Archer was doing.

''Archer! Where did you went in such a hurry and came back as well?'' Beren asked.

Beren didn't notice the changing expressions on Archer's face. His face was once expressionless, the very next moment sad and then furious.

Archer when noticed Beren's presence, looked up and gestured him to sit down next to him.

Beren did what he told him and when he glanced at the laptop screen he saw a man's pic who was holding Ash in his arms. Beren understood, this was the picture from the incident four years ago, the incident that changed his best friend's whole life and the incident that made him turn into a devil.

Beren looked at Archer and said, ''We told you to look for proofs but you didn't listened''.
