NATHAN
I knew there was a problem when I walked into the room and both of my parents were seated in silence, opposite each other and their arms crossed. The silence of my father was one I still could not get used to and if I walked in and he was about to tear the house down with noise, I would have preferred that.
"Good evening." I made sure to greet them just so I announced my presence and to stop them from talking to me. I had a long day and all I was looking forward to was getting to my bed and to my room so I could have some peace and quiet to myself.
I had only taken two more steps when my father's voice stopped me in my tracks.
"Where do you think you are going?"
